How to Safely Pack Paintings in a Mailing Tube

This is a demo for shipping paintings that will save your collector money on shipping and ensure the safety of your paintings during transit. It requires removing the paintings from their stretcher bars. (I will film a demo for that in the future.) This is also a great method for shipping prints to customers, especially if they are printed on rolled canvas. A list of materials used in this video appear below. ~ Recycled mailing tube
~ PVC piping cut only slightly shorter than the inside of the mailing tube. A snug fit will keep the roll from moving back and forth inside the tube. Also be sure that the circumference of the tube is narrow enough to fit inside the tube one the paintings are in place.
~ Recycled cardboard pieces
~ Shipping tape
~ Scissors
~ Pen
