Yosemite 2023 Friday the 13th In honor of Chief

- Where do I start? My good friend mentor Eves TallChief gifted me his custom Freedom 1 Northwing HG to fly. I was beyond honor. I quickly named it Evesly.
I made a goal to get into shape. Check.
Well, I knew it would it take a heavenly intervention to open Yosemite, Maybe Ryan keeping Chris up to date about the road. WHATEVER! The permit was open. I called CRV to sign me for closing weekend. Oct 13th BRILLIANT!
Then my old buddy from the HG.org Cal did not hesitate to sign up to fly with me. We made the arrangements and just waited. So many things needed to come together to fly ff of Yosemite.
Eves Tall Chief. If you know him, he has launched off of Yosemite 309 times. All we could do wait for the day to come. The weather, the company, the timing of the eclipse was just so magical.
It truly was a spiritual moment feeling the presence of Eves and Mark. Forever grateful for my angels! I love and miss you all. Forever in my heart!

I jumped off Beachy Head one Friday the thirteenth and landed back on top ! .. many years ago on the South Downs :-)
