Wir nutzen beide die Visa Debit von DKB und Carmen hat auch noch die Kreditkarte von der DKB. Mussten auch schon ein paar mal damit Zahlen, weil die Debit nicht ging. Hast du von Wise eine Kreditkarte? Wir haben Wise nur einmal benutzt, um in Australien den Van zu verkaufen. Hat sehr gut geklappt. Wir empfehlen auf jeden Fall zwei Karten mitzunehmen, am besten von Zwei unterschiedlichen Anbietern/Banken. 👍
I nearly died when you said you forked out over $16k aud to travel Australia lol 😂. We travel full-time here and doht spend anywhere near that amount. There are Absolutely ways to live and travel in Oz without spending that much moolah. 1.Aldi is cheaper than anything else for food etc 2. Gym membership is free showers, recharging devices and working out 3. Free camp as much as possible and theres more spots than most foreigners know about 4. Housesit in between road life (free rent, free utilities, use of their vehicle etc) and you can choose between 2 days and over a year 5. If you want to work, Work stacking shelves in a supermarket for $35 an hour 6. Free water in most locations if you know where to go 7. Book anything in advance to save on $ in oz. 8. Diesel vehicle over petrol and minor servicing done yourself 9. Do anything to fill your time that costs little to nothing at all (as you stipulated) 10. Doing the above weve managed to save $40k in 1 year and travel to 691 locations from Cairns to the South Australian border 11. Insect or rodent issues in campervan; this happens to everyone eventually but what we do is strip out the van of anything that's easily removable, garage it with all doors and windows open then let off 6 mortien bug and cockroach killing spray cans (they auto spray once activated) and close the garage up overnight. ANYTHING in there will die and problem solved 😂 12. Buy a empty van and Build your own vehicle interiors or you risk buying someone else's issues as you found out Hope that helps if you decide to return to our wonderful country xxoo
