Good stuff! I appreciate your thorough presentation of the history, your analysis, and comments on your own experience with the cartridge. It's a piece that's way out of my price range, but I can apply the kind of thinking that you have displayed here in my personal R&D. Many thanks.
I have the good fortune to own an original Kiseki Purpleheart (S/N 249) circa 1986 and it only has about 200 hours of use. I agree with everything you said. This cartridge is pure magic.
A Hana ML was sounding perfectly acceptable in my rig prior to introducing the Kiseki Purple Heart, now, with the Purple Heart, the sound of my stereo has spoken, opened. The first time I heard the Kiseki I immediately thought of master tape. This Kiseki is every bit the show stopper the old Monster Genesis 1000 was though with more body, more of "it". At 30hrs into the break-in period this Kisekei absolutely "sings". Thanks, Guido!

I’ve had my Purple Heart for five years and it is nearing the end of its life. What will I replace it with? Another Purple Heart! Really nice setup you’ve put together Guido!
I own a Koetsu Black and I’ll have it traded in on a new one. The Kiseki is probably a better match to a wider selection of tone arms because of its higher compliance. I recommend you ask your salesman or several saleslmen/or saleswomen to be sure if the Koetsu will match whatever you install it on because if it’s not compatible you will not enjoy it at all.

All the things related to sound you can turn into pleasant and warm melodies if you have best of the best network player and good streaming services. Now it really works a few years ago digital devices were not so advanced.
Raimond, I have one of the best DACs around feeling it with extremely high resolution PCM and DSD audio. Unfortunately a well mastered record or tape outperforms that quite easily IMO.
@@anadialog Thanks, Guido, for sharing with your experience. I really appreciate what you are doing with your deep analysis of every subject presented. My standpoint was based on experience when listening to brand new hi - end devices and hearing 👂 with my ears that music streaming quality is the same or even better than coming fromCD. The digital signal conversion quality to analog was amazing. Before that I used PC as a source together with DAC and sound was OK but not as good as with the devices used later. What’s interesting is that several high-end reviewers actually use the Purple Heart in their system. Even though they have an assortment of other high end and I do mean extremely high-end cartridges they still use the Purple Heart for their main listening. It’s just simply a very enjoyable pleasurable cartridge to listen to.
