Christian Pulisic - 19 years Weston McKinnie - 19 years Tim Weah - 18 years Tyler Adams -19 years Josh Sargent - 18 years And all in the USMNT team as starters! The future looks very bright! Just hope Sebastian Soto (17 years ) goes to Germany this year too and he will soon be part of the USMNT.
Mercidi Nsiku He just scored 2 goals with the US Youth U20 in a friendly and only played 45 minutes. He was also one of the best goal scorer, or the one with the most goals, if I remember correctly, in the U19 DA season. Highly regarded upcoming striker, just what the USMNNT needs more of. Hopefully he continues to do better and does make it in Europe. And he is still 17!
at 2:07 demonstrates why we should not discourage multi-sport participation. You pick up skills and elevate your drive and work ethic when playing multiple sports, even if its on a lower tier level.
Playing other sports makes you a better footballer. (heck, even Christian Pulisic played it growing up) You pick up a lot of skills and learn other ideas that apply to the pitch. Pressing originates from ice hockey. Set piece movements are similar to pick and rolls in basketball. As for being a better "soccer player," you can't ask for more when you're in the Red Bull academy by the time you're 10, in the 1st team by 16/17, and now off to the Bundesliga.
Yep. Playing multiple sports, any one; American football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis will help you in any sport you truly want to have as your main focus. You learn a lot.
The whole world tryna know how this dude came out great. Tyler Johnson is a show stopper, very fearless to dribble n shoot. Ball control n handler r on point.
Love his work ethic & motor, he could have really helped us during the hex. I'd have taken my chances with him or McKennie instead of Backpass Bradley. Look forward to seeing him & McKennie develop a nice partnership.
Also a lot of the reason youth development is so bad in the states. It's waaaaaaay to expensive to play at for an elite youth team, not accessible to everyone. At least he and his family have the opportunity to make that sacrifice.
robert meinhold also cause here in the us for any sport they can’t get paid till their 18 which imo is stupid for us teams they should be able to get paid at like 10 or just no age
He fearless while with the ball against the opponent period n that's why he's Tyler Adams. He said he's bringing back world cup to United States someday n he meant it like everyone said
If the USMNT wants to ever be good their up and coming players like Adams needs to leave the shitty MLS and go overseas they don’t develop anyone in the MLS follow what Weah, Sargent, and Pulisic are doing (PLAYING IN EUROPE)
“It’s a grind but I don’t mind” lowkey dropping bars too😂🔥.
By 2026, all these guys will be in their prime. Hope they all develop and gel together. Been a fan of US football/soccer since the 2009 Confed Cup!
We have a high chance in 2026 especially since we'll be at home which is an advantage. Finals here we come
Christian Pulisic - 19 years
Weston McKinnie - 19 years
Tim Weah - 18 years
Tyler Adams -19 years
Josh Sargent - 18 years
And all in the USMNT team as starters! The future looks very bright! Just hope Sebastian Soto (17 years ) goes to Germany this year too and he will soon be part of the USMNT.

eh, he could have been even a better soccer player if instead of basketball he would have been playing traveling soccer or something

Isn't he going to RB Leipzig? There was a rumor his coach was going to take him along
Captain Cosmo Yes, he is going but not to Leipzig. He is going to RB Salzburg by the end of the MLS season.

Read last part.
Mario L On loan not permanent
why not. if he stays in the MLS he wont fulfil his potential the MLS isnt good enough.
Considero que en un par de años estos jugadores habrán alcanzado un gran nivel y la selección nos puede llevar la delantera en las eliminatorias
Are great USMNT youngsters 👍
Love his work ethic & motor, he could have really helped us during the hex. I'd have taken my chances with him or McKennie instead of Backpass Bradley. Look forward to seeing him & McKennie develop a nice partnership.
Americans truly dont understand this sport wow
Go for it man - tell me what I don't understand. Explain to me why Michael Bradley was a better option than Adams or McKennie.
Now he's playing in the best league on the planet 💛💙 welcome to Leeds
you need hella gas money to make that trip almost everyday for 7 years
Goxzalo it’s sacricifices

I feel good about Adams and Weston. Pulisic is a no brainer he is already good but we still are a long way off from a final 16 in the World Cup
Needs to tighten up his ball control -- but love this kid. Need to get him to Europe.
Adams is a poor man's Davies lol
Bro you need to go to Europe ASAP
Just a real shadow of demsey
Now his home is Leeds
That’s sun from playing turning him darker than his parents

Did he have to pay crazy amounts for the academy??
Bryan Perez you don’t pay to play on Red Bull’s academy
Bryan Perez for every MLS academy but DC united you don’t need to pay
at dynamo you have to pay
The Houston Dynamo Academy is free from U14 and older

Folks never stop screaming while he had the ball n his gone
if he wants to improve he must move to Europe and sign for a club in one of the top leagues so he can progress.
