Port Dickson used to be a major tourist destination for Malaysian but it have been eclipsed by Langkawi, Cameron Highland, Sabah and the islands in East Coast. For many Malaysian, Port Dickson is simply the place where your boss send you for annual company team building or family day event but nothing more than that. So its great to watch your video and see how Port Dickson have evolved to become a nice yet underrated destination, even for Malaysian. Its time for a revisit to Port Dickson.
A beautiful beach with clean water in Port Dickson is Kemang Bay Beach (pantai Teluk Kemang) while the interesting place on the coast of port dickson is bird island (pulau burung) which can cross the sea through the bridge to get to the island. seeing the sunset there is very beautiful.
In 1996 a water festival was held in PD at Teluk Kemang beach. I witnessed water scooters race. I stayed in PD till end of 1999, festival was never held again. It was so entertaining. Blue lagoon was favorite spot of my family, kids enjoyed the blue water and beautiful scenery.
@@wattstraveling Its the nearest beach from KL and its school holiday now. I am so sorry but you waving back at the kids is so funny. You looked so confused lol.
blue lagoon, the water was shallow because its low tide... Anyway, i seldom heard of people in Malaysia searching for housesitters, usually when they were out of town, they just ask the neighbours to look after their house, or maybe a relative that lives close by.
People housesitting around world are very popular nowadays. I have friends housesitting a big house in Baja California, Mexico for a few months. They spent their times enjoying the beaches and foods.
Welcome to my hometown. Do check out the free Aquarium to see some colourful fishes and turtles. Then have some Hainanese coffee and toast at Fung Hai at Jalan Lama, it’s our favourite. 🙂
OMG....though living in KL, has not been to PD since the mid Eighties. Can't recognise the place except the lighthouse. Must make a trip there soon. Love your video. Looking forward to more from you.
Hyee.. welcome to Malaysia. hope you can go to Sabah, there's have most beautiful island and place to explore, but need to take flight to go there. also pulau perhentian & pulau kapas at Terengganu. Enjoy your time in Malaysia..
Yes , I've been told it's beautiful! We want to get there but not sure we have time, which means we will be back!......unless our plans change! Thank you for watching ❤️
There is an army museum there, other than that there's the historical centre in Lukut and Pengkalan Kempas, PD's neighbouring towns. You can also go Firefly watching in Linggi and also off the Pengkalan Kempas (though not very sure if they are still operating)
The bundle clothes store are mostlyy from Japan. The Japanese only wear their clothes for a year as they follow yearly fashion trends. Hence the clothes, bags and shoes are in very good. condition. There are Americans who seek rare branded clothing items and apparels unique to Japan from Malaysian bundle stores. There are Malaysians who look for them to sell abroad.
My friend bought a lot from kedah too and gave it to the cousin to sell at night markets. Japanese dress, skirts. They follow trend and season, so wastage is there. Malaysians are not much into trendy fashion. Not much vanity.
I followed saki chan, aya chan and sunami chan channel. They all live in kl. I found out that the trend for fashion in tokyo is set by media. Crazy waste of money.
Don't think a local Malay family can do in the US just like what you're doing here. Definitely a subject of harassment, racial hate & probably getting killed. You should tell more about the hospitality & smiling culture of Malaysians.
You clearly haven't watched my other videos made in Malaysia!.... and Malay family being killed if they moved or traveled to the U.S?..... highly unlikely! 😊

It's great to rely on neighbors for a few days, but a month is a little long to impose...... that's why we are here! 😁

If you are still in PD, check out the Military Museum at Batu 4. It has a tunnel to mimic those used during WW2 when Japan invaded Malaysia.
