Im a busy mom and don't have much time to pour into changing up my style but with these hairstyles its easy to change up my look without much time commitment. Some great style ideas! I am going to a beach wedding in Hawaii in a couple weeks and have no idea how my hair will react in that climate, so I NEED to be ready with some no fail styles in case I look like an alpaca. lol. I love a messy bun type style with curly hair. Always seems effortlessly chic to me.

Love these styles. I like all of them. I've tried the messy bun on top without success. My hair has thinned a lot on top especially in the front. On top of that I've always had bangs so it's shorter there. I'm trying to grow it out but it is a slow process. Any suggestions? If you don't refresh day 2 hair how do you keep it from being frizzy?
I have a lot of thinning especially on the top of my head, and in the bangs area.
If pulling your hair back, you could try gently rubbing some matte eyeshadow in a colour similar to your hair. That helps cover the scalp that shows through.
Just be sure to go lightly, the closer you get to your hairline so it doesn't leave a heavy line of colour.
Also, before doing that, Mark Anthony's curl cream is good for boosting volume in my fine, thinning curly hair, and I blow dry my hair with that stuff in.
Then, I lift the roots with a hair pick, and my hair will pouf up better when I loosely pin the bangs back.
Sometimes, if i want a smooth front, I'll run a mini hair straightening iron through the bangs, quickly, but not right from my scalp.
Another idea is a small 1" or 2" wide hair frontal pin in hair piece. That helps create thicker looking hair if pinned about an inch back from your own hair.
There are also larger hair toppers that if purchased in a colour similar to your own, can give more hair overall on top, and can be brushed up together with your own hair, in order to add volume to the top and in your bun or ponytail.
One last option if you just want to add more volume to your bun, or ponytail, would be drawstring ponytails.
If you want to create a bun from a drawstring ponytail, you can simply gather it up under a hair elastic, and/or curl it up, and pin sections up around the ponytail join, to create a curly, slightly messy bun.
With human hair pieces, it's best to look for Remy hair, as it's hair that was gathered up with the cuticles all lying in the same direction so that the hair tangles significantly less.
One has to care for it as your own hair, and you'll have to most likely pin it to a mannequin head (or a styrofoam head if the hairpiece is small & light), to style it up as you'd like it to be.
Many would recommend roller setting with product vs. a curling iron to style or touch pieces up.
You can often order pieces that are already pre-permed, as well.

Question...how are your curls so nice, shiny, bouncy, defined and not frizzy. Because my curls are a giant knitted mess with frizz and 3 or 4 defined curls in that poof ball. Also I can’t only do a pony tail or bun that’s how frizzy mine is ;u;

The last time I had long hair, I straightened it every day because I didn't know how to handle my curly/wavy mess. Got so fed up that I chopped it all off! I'm trying the long hair again....THANK YOU for the ideas and inspiration! I'm determined to love my curls just as they are :) :)

You don’t have to ruin the clumps...you can simply section it by moving your clumps of curls :) you don’t have to have a perfect part

I love how you have your hair is cut.. I have tried getting it trimmed like that, with even & beautifully blended layers but these last 2 stylists had no idea. Cut WAY TOO MUCH OFF & i have more of a bobbed triangle bushy cut.
Very unhappy with it. How can I best explain it for my next trim which is going to be a long time from now though.
