Hi do the hand guards give you added protection from the cold I am guessing that they should but thought I would ask I I have thought of getting some although I do not intend on using mine in the winter months ahead Cheers Mal
@@thebingleywheeler Hi, I would like to do exactly the same with my XJR i.e. the extra lamps. Do you please have the lamp details that you use i.e. are they good and bright. What switching did you use with them i.e. did you use existing headlamp switch and lastly can you remember the wires picked up to make the connections..?? Sorry for all the questions
Hi again....the lamps were bought from bikermart.co.uk two years ago....they are just wired into the main beam switching of the bike....they are standard bulbs so not too bright

Hi Mal....yes they make for a significant improvement over the OEM guards as much more wind is deflected around your hands

Hi ya mate nice looking bike what torque settings did you tighten don for the top end engine guards has iv got some for mine yours matt
Hi from memory it was 10nm but watch carefully at first for any oil seepages
