Allen, I love the light and dark green paint scheme on the Marx. Also love the Rio Grande scheme on the Lionel 259. I like the bare metal with the clear coat. You do a great restoration and paint job!
Allen the motor you have shown will mount to a 259 frame. It needs an extra piece shaped like a Z to mount on a 259e frame. The e unit lever is forward so all you need is that piece.
