There was never a doubt what he was singing about.
😍😍😍😍😍
I listen Barry White, I have my friend he like it
That's what he's known for.
@@DianeJenningsif you like Barry White, then you'll enjoy Marvin Gaye.
@@DianeJenningshe was a great singer 😊
Barry White was a legend, with a voice of dark velvet
I was conceived to Barry White
😅
85% of Gen X was . It was either Marvin Gaye, Al Green or the master...Barry White.
He had an incredible, deep voice. He was so talented and had THAT voice.
When he speaks underwater, whales can hear him from more than 750 km away.
"Can't Get Enough", "My Everythang", Barry White started singing and he started a baby-boom!! Smooth pure soul--
Barry White was huge in the 70's. This was his big comeback song in the early 90's and it's my favorite.
Barry White has a voice like velvet -- super smooth 😉
My buddy used to call him "The Walrus of Love, " with admiration, of course. Barry White came to prominence leading the Love Unlimitted Orchestra in the late 60s/ early 70s
Can't get enough your love, baby.
How very dare you!
The LEGENDARY Iconic Mr Barry White aka Maestro 💯
Can't get enough of your love baby...
I mostly know Barry White from Ally McBeal too. I still associate "You're my first, my last, my everything" to that show when I hear it.
In addition to being a great singer, Barry White also formed and conducted The Love Unlimited Orchestra, which had some great instrumental hits. The instrumental version of "Love's Theme" is an absolute favorite of mine
'Never, never gonna give you up' was a big disco hit for White and probably his most famous hit.
Yeah, but Diane's attempt to rickroll us on that one; *not cool, man*.
@@aquilapetram LOL Poor Rick, takes more flack than he probably deserves. lol
67 year old grandfather. He was very popular during my high school years in the early 1970's.
Barry was married for many years to Glodean, one of Love Unlimited's singers. You definitely have to google pics of Glodean White's NAILS! 😱 Really wild stuff
"Can't get enough of your love babe" is his most famous song. Put it in you're que. Love!
Barry White's voice is truly one of a kind, great video, have a great weekend Diane.
Thank you! You too!
When you heard his voice on the radio station, make-out session started! ❤
Someone else who remembers radio! 😅
Even if you had to pull the car over to do it safely.
I was waiting for he face to drop when Barry started singing.
This song has a nice smooth and jazzy sound. I love it. Thanks for another Awesome video.
Barry White, ahhhhh yes, The Maestro. The dude was good, late night fun
Barry White has the wise words and the attractive deep voice with the classic attractive sounds that You feel like a billion dollars.
Yay Editor Diane double shot. Barry White is definitely sexy time music. Spectacular voice.
Barry white and Marvin Gaye Are two iconic Blues Singers.
So the picture with the "wig" is his hair chemically straightened and Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Babe is definitely disco. Disco was my teen years. Thanks for your content.
My absolute favorite Barry White is I'm in Ecstasy When You're Layin Next To Me. It was disco supreme.
I remember that one! As an almost teenager, I couldn't get why they played it on the radio all the time. 😅 now I get it
I love Ally McBeal I used to watch that show religiously every week. The dancing baby 😅. You need to react to his song Your My First My Last My Everything
Back when I was still buying CDs (awhile ago) I found a Barry White comp in a huge bin and decided to buy it. Full of real smooth, grooving R & B and soul jams. Barry excelled at songs that got people going, and he knew it. In fact, buying the album that day, I was rung up by a tall woman at a cash register. When she picked up the disc and looked it over, she smiled. And said to me, “The smooth sounds of Barry White.” So he remains the king of that style and always will be.
Teena Marie - "Square Biz ", you'll like her.😎
Hey girl, got my wig. (In really deep voice). Keep branching out with the different genres Good job! He was all over the radio in the 70's.
Thank you! Will do!
@@DianeJenningslisten to his discography ( as someone who grew up listening to Mr. White you understand that he was a whole mood )
@DianeJennings listen to Prince's ",Breakfast can Wait". In the same vein
Seeing you blush makes the video!! His voice was like the smoothest Irish whiskey or cognac!!
Uh, Miss Jennings, I do believe your eyes are dilating just listening to his voice. 😃 There should be a warning to women on all of Barry White's albums.
Yes, this is music to create great sounding bedroom sounds
He really was a great artist & he is definitely missed
Has Diane done the PUPPY BOWL yet? If not, that's right in her wheelhouse
I love Barry White music.
Ahh that creepy dancing baby and that song. 😬 That was buried memory from long ago. Thanks for dredging that back up.👍
Happy Friday Diane! I first heard a Barry White song called "My First, My Last, My Everything" during the opening credits of this old movie called "Money Talks" with Chris Tucker and Charlie Sheen. A lot of women, in particular, find his singing voice to be very sultry and smooth. I find his singing voice to sound very soulful. And I dig it. Looks like you had enjoyed it too judging from your reactions. Glad to see that you liked it. Great video as always Diane. Always good to see you on here. Thanks for the share. Have a fantastic weekend and all the best to you always! Safe travels to you on your trip to Chicago! Be well! 👋😎🎉🎊
Thank you 🥰
Practice what you preach, Welsh borders the place. Steamy pace.
One of my grandma’s favorite crooners along with Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass, and Luther Vandross❤❤
Classic soul at its finest 💯
Your reactions to Barry Whites video brings Me Happy Good Vibes Joy.
All her reactions are endearing
You should check out the full unedited album version.
You are so adorable. Have a great weekend...if you have weekends where you live. 😅
I think Diane might need a moment lol
His charisma was off the charts.
WOW it’s been awhile now I gotta get out some Berry😏
Barry White was partially responsible for my most embarrassing moment in radio, and it was back in the 90s. I was doing news, and the morning jock knew I had a head for trivia. It happened to be the birthday of a 60s and 70s game show host named Allan Ludden, so he asked if I knew who Allen Ludden had been married to. It was an easy question-Allen Ludden had been married to Betty White. My brain said "Betty White", but my mouth called an audible on the play and it said "Barry White".
In addition to Chocolate Day and Pizza Day, have a happy Read in the Bathtub Day! (And tomorrow is Cream Cheese Brownie Day!)
I'm a metalhead and I absolutely love Barry White's music. It's been one of my favorites for over 20 years now. You should check out some of his songs from the '70s! Those hard his best, in my opinion.
Highly recommend the songs you read, but one of his most famous more recent performances was on Quincy Jones’ Secret Garden featuring Barry, Al B Sure, James Ingram, and El DeBarge. Make sure you play the full length album version. Barry starts and ends this steamy song
The walrus of Looooove!
I've always been a fan of Barry White, but I've never heard this one be4ore. I guess I'll have to listen more... 😀
Oh wow! It’s his most viewed on UA-cam! Might be the lovely lady
👍
Many of us are curious
After being “Barried”
what was going on during the
“Many many minutes later”
🥵
I'm glad you got to hear Barry White, he has a voice I think most guys wish they had. I think the best comments about Barrys voice I ever heard was when we were talking about music at work and one of the women said "Barry's voice just makes women's panties fly off", her word not mine. And yes please check out Marvine Gaye, great voice and another Motown great.
I learned a lot today about Barry White that I did not know till today. Learning, watching You narrate while listing to You narrate with onscreen text Always makes learning experience a billion times better than reading it online.
Ahh the walrus of love, he was some man x #hotdamn 🥵🥵🥵
Picturing ED swooning to Barry White when she thinks no one’s looking…😉
Doubtful
Very excited to see Diane explore more Motown with the Supremes and any others, I.e. Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Temptations etc
Ooh the possibilities!!! 👏🏻
I think you would like Gary Puckett and the Union Gap "Over You" and Bobby Caldwell "What you won't do for love" .
Smoky Robinson!
😂 I think you got bit by the Barry White bug - just go with it- it’s awesome!!!
Let's get it onnnn Let's get it on 😊 time to rock out some berry while!..!,
Barry White is what you put on for a romantic evening with your lady 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is Also my First time Hearing Barry White's Practice what You Preach on the music journey though I have probably heard the song in the background on Alley McBeal since I have seen the Complete Series. You always bring Me Happy Good Vibes Song for the Weekend and Everyday.
Great song choice. This was probably my favorite song of his.
OOOOOH YEEEAH, Barry White... whose love songs have become synonymous with having sexy time...
As always. music reactions get copyright claimed and demonetized, so Patreon and channel memberships are needed to keep Diane's lights on and buy Chewie's treats.
I never really watched Allie McBeal, so I didn't know Barry White was often used on that show. I do remember the dancing baby thing, though.
Barry White was a pretty popular soul artist when I was growing up. He was often backed up by The Love Unlimited Orchestra. Later he was even in an episode of the Simpsons, where his deep voice was useful in luring snakes away from Springfield to save them from "Snake Whacking Day."
"Practice What You Preach" doesn't come to mind as one of his bigger hits like "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe," "You're the First, the last, My Everything" or "Never Never Gonna Give You Up". I assume it's from a later period in his career. Looking it up, the song did make it to #1 on the Billboard R&B charts in 1994, and was his first hit since his 1970s heyday.
I don't think that was a wig. It was probably that he had his hair straightened. That was popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Marvin Gaye is very much worth looking into.
Oh good point about the hair straightening! And thank you for the shoutout
check out "secrete garden" its Quincy jones album but Barry has a part in it along with 3 others you probably dont know 😄 James Ingram , El DeBarge , and Al B Sure
Barry's heydey was '73-'78.
Feeding Mr algorithm good job as usual Diane you keep digging up old memories
I try ☺️
Best Love Makin' music ever created ------ mike drop.
Barry's music was considered baby making music, as was Luther Vandross. Though you protest, you looked like you 😍.
Not sure what to say on this one. Ally was definitely early mid/late-90's, that Dancing Baby was *everywhere*. It was, I think, one of the earliest animations shared on the interwebs and was supposed to demonstrate just how awesome Windows95 was. Cheers Diane! Have a lovely weekend! 💚
The dancing baby!! Omg
White’s music was big in the 1970’s.
13:25 Agreed, the audience should’ve appreciated that he was willing to finish the show
I have heard some of his other songs on the radio. Try Listening to Barry White's I Can't Get Enough Your Love Babe, Just the Way You Are, Never Gonna Give You Up
What a fun reaction video! Good job Diane!
I love it ❤
Here's one of Barry White's earlier songs. Listen to "Can't Get Enough of Your Love"
Happy Friday !
Same to you!
growing up to his songs in the seventies and eighties we called them Baby-making music
Awesome hi how is my favourite Irish lady from an old Australian Chris❤❤❤
I am breathing in and out! 😂
@@DianeJennings hey i thaught i eas the only one trying to do that 😆
Just grand, Diane. R&B was huge in the 70's, pre-disco, though this song is indeed from '94. No schmexy songs needed to date Irish Girls? Laugh you into the sack?! Now, that deserves a Patron only video!
A Patreon challenge 😂
That deep slow burning sensual voice was unique. Thanks Diane BOOP
It sure was!
Great video 😊
I was just going to comment that he was on the Simpsons and then you beat me to the punch. Anyway have a great weekend Diane and Chewy! How about Hall and Oates "Rich Girl" for a music video it has fun lyrics?
Fun is good!!
Happy Friday Diane! Barry White is a straight up Legend in R & B. One of the best voices ever! For some more great R & B I highly recommend Lou Rawls. But be careful: his voice was so smooth you're computer might slip off the table. Boop!
😂😂😂
Love your videos
Well he definitely hit it big in the 1970s, but I'd guess you're right with this being a 1990s song. He seems to sing about the romantic stuff.
Come on giiiiirrrrrrlll!!!!!!
I'd bet more coitus has happened to the tune of Barry White's music than any other musician lol
Women loved him, especially his voice
Request: reacting to the _Zoboomafoo_ episode "Fling". ❤
As a white guy, I could always dance to Barry.
His voice was as smooth as butter, which is ironic since butter is probably one of the things that added to his health problems.
Soooo today, Diane listens to one of Barry White’s tracks
Then does a little research and reads some fun facts
ED gets annoyed with Diane and eats lots of snacks
Chewie is just chillin’, he likes to relax
2:10 such a smoooooth voice🤩
I can do a killer Barry White impression, spoken or sung!
We all need to hear that!
@@DianeJennings I can send you a recorded text message!
3:26 So smooth...
Good music!
I was just thinking: Since you asked for some suggestions about what music to try...lol
Maybe try watching the White Zombie video for Thunderkiss '65...lol
It's a little loud, but not too crazy with the lyrics. And they had a kick-ass female bass player...long before it was cool.
Also, try the old Beastie Boys album License to Ill...for some good, old-fashioned humor. But songs like Girls probably won't be your favorite...unless you get the humor, of course. Or try their album Check Your Head.
What else?
Jack Johnson? You know Jack, right?..lolol
Seriously, though...His first album was pretty huge for a while, in the US...great for 420 and relaxing, from what I've heard, Young Lady...lol
😀
Ok I see your number 4 on “these reasons” i need more info!
Happy Friday!! I really love this video.Have a great weekend.
Thank you! You too!
