Definitely continue with the NGT performances to see the amazing musical growth it showcases. Really, it's like a transformation from child singer to professional in a year. Nina, this performance was my first introduction to Angelina. Two years ago I was looking for something else on UA-cam when I came across this little girl missing teeth, wild hair in a white dress with sad eyes. I was intrigued by this little ragamuffin and then she started singing. It was as if I was witnessing a miracle as she channeled Billie Holiday. It was a spiritual experience for me and I've listened to her everyday since. I'm sixty eight years old, I've been emersed in music from early childhood and I've never heard tone, talent, skill and storytelling like Angelina's. Her musical intellect is astounding. I feel like I'm witnessing a real life prodigy. On top of it all, Angelina is a humble, gentle soul, not at all a deva. Her heritage and her story are equally fascinating. I love your reactions to Angelina and suggest at some time reacting to her studio performance of this song with her grandmother in attendance. As a vocal coach, you'll be astounded.
I am so glad you finally got around to Angelina Jordan, Nina, most lovely one,.,,, You only have. About 140, or so, to go, but hurry, B4 her album release!!!!
any performance by Angelina is very worthy of reacting to. In 70 years i have never ever seen or heard anyone with her ability either male or female in the musical field
You should do her studio cover of ( I'm a fool to want you ) at 11 yrs old, it is out of this world, in my opinion, it is the Gold standard for this song, no one could improve on it, or even match it, Facts
Always a pleasure to watch your reactions to Angelina, Nina. To answer your question: my favourit song of Angelina is the last I've listen to. Each time
Exactly Nina.. there are still 2 performances by Angelina at the NGT in my humble opinion... unmissable, here a capella is stunning in tone, voice and let's not forget that we are talking about a 7 year old Norwegian girl who "tells" a song with a splendid English diction..alien..I have no words except...thanks for the review, have a good life...Massimo
Imagine being a judge and you’re listening to your intuition tell you that everyone in the room is part of this wonderful history unfolding before your eyes. I saw some clips of her at the grammys last night and major industry names are getting a pose with her, all with that gleem in thier eyes .
Oh my goodness Nina we need more Angelina. We’ve been addicts since she was so young and still need more, it’s all soul food. Please carry on your NGt journey ❤
I do envy reactors new to Angelina. So many songs to discover, dozens upon dozens of performances. And the crazy thing is, they are all great. Well, at least we can relive the journey with you, which is a lot of fun.
Please do continue with the remaining two NGT performances. She appears to advance her vocal ability about a year’s worth of a normal person every several weeks here.
According to a recent comment from a fan who claims access to the NGT recording schedule, all of AJ's performances took place over a period of less than 3 months. Hard for me and the 'tooth watch' brigade to believe ... perhaps another fan with knowledge of the matter can confirm/deny ... it's important for professional voice coaches to understand Angelina's accelerated growth between the ages of 7 and 8. R (Australia)
Welcome back, Nina, on the Angelina musical journey. I'm happy that you decided to continue with the NGT Show. Angelina surprises the Judges and audience with her incredible talent. This adorable 7 yrs old little girl with Big hair and missing teeth; how could you not fall in love with her. She continues to perform classic Jazz songs, starting with "Gloomy Sunday" and ending with "Summertime," winning the show and the hearts of millions of views Worldwide.
I agree with other commenters who say continue on with NGT and our lady of joy. Yes, she makes all of us feel joy, no matter what she sings. Please do continue on your journey with Angelina, no matter where you go next. She appreciates it. We appreciate it.
I had to LAUGH, you mentioned how nervous she may have been feeling, "all those" people behind her... Oh NO, I'm looking at the face of that little girl in the red dress, her face says what you describe, and probably what all the other contests were thinking: "We have to follow THAT!?!?!???? 😨😕😟😳😮" YES, amazing she sings the Billie Holiday version, all the scoops and nuances ON POINT...Child Prodigy, that's all I can say, but need to add your AJ reactions are so pleasant to watch!!! Keep 'em coming and watch whatever Angelina video you want; we fans will enjoy every one! PEACE
😊 if I remember correctly, she was the last contestant, and I think that the others all thought that they had a chance of being the best singer, until she opened her mouth and started singing.
This is the beginning of going down the rabbit hole. Most of the fans, as am I, went down the rabbit hole. The journey Always begins at the beginning, Norway's Got Talent. She performs The song "Bang Bang" and "Summertime" as well. It is important to see the progression of her skills within that sure to help you It is important to see the progression of her skills within that show and understand the rate of progress of her vocal skills in such a short time. To watch her learn her skills @ that she improves her craft is historic. Had we had a chance to see and understand Mozart and his rate of growth when he was young would also be astonishing. A genius mind is rare to watch.
Thank you Nina for exploring super young Angelina. I was stunned with these young performances. This is amazing for such a young child. I liked how she almost skipped away when she finished. :)
You’ve mentioned several things that make Angelina special. Her voice is absolutely compelling-she has everyone’s full attention after the first line. And even at 7, we see her unfathomable interpretation of mature lyrics, her storytelling, and phrasing that is so musical and unforced even though this is not her first language. Billie Holiday? A cappella? No problem. Just hand her the mic. You deserve to treat yourself to Angelina now. Watch a truly unique vocalist with her mesmerizing cover of Suspicious Minds. Or to hear just a sample of vocal tools that she can access so effortlessly, watch her cover of Adele’s Easy on Me. Both are just stunning (as are about 50 others I could recommend.)
7 years old , centre stage, competitors behind , judges in front , singing acapella , difficult jazz song, pitch perfect , fearless and effortless! This is a true artist who knows her voice and delivers the story through her voice ! Angelina even at this age had the ability to have intonation , inflection and subtle nuances in her voice ! Her vibrato is natural and so good ! Nina this young girl, I feel is so unique and definitely gifted beyond compare ! It's beautiful to witness her growth and maturity as she ages ! Now at 17 her voice is so mature it's unbelievable but we all knew this would happen ! I would suggest her first studio recording at age of 6 that will astound you I'm sure ! It's called "I Who Have Nothing " by Ben E. King ! It was recorded by her grandmother ! Watch it till the very end to hear the comments ! Thank you Nina for continued support for our barefoot princess and your expert analysis and commentary as they are so important to hear ! Take care and keep posting ! 👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️
Nina, as a vocal coach, you owe it to yourself to continue to follow Angelina’s progress thru the Norway’s got talent program. Her growth and development is beyond belief! First, do the rest of them individually. THEN, go back and watch them all in one sitting. There is a video with English subtitles that has them all. It might be a good reaction for you to review the 4 performances for us. You can tell us how you see how she develops during that half year as Angelina grew from age 7 to 8. It’s amazing… and I think you would enjoy it.
Hi! Are you certain there is an amalgamated video of all of Angelina's NGT performances with English subtitles? If so, you will have made my day.🙂 Please post a link for me?
@@alberttenfoot Maybe there’s not. I guess I’ve seen them all individually with the subtitles so many times that I know what the judges are saying! LOL!!!
Hi Nina, I believe this episode they took all the kids together and basically cut them down to a more manageable number quite quickly... so it was all Acapella unless they were playing there own instrument. This episode can give the impression that it was a "Kids" competition, but it was definitely not that.
She started early. She started to sing before she could speak. She started at one and a half years old. Thank you for your expertise regarding this artist. She is a natural born singer. A prodigy. Her vocals today at 17 years of age is unmatched IMO.
You have to go back to where it all started on Norways got talent age 7 with Gloomy Sunday Bang Bang you shot me down and Summertime...amazing..loving your reactions
Angelina Jordan is an ORACLE Oracles have existed in human form in every culture around the world. Many are still noted in our time, such as the Oracles at Delphi in Greece, the Chief Oracle of Tibet, and the Oracles of ancient Egypt, but there are countless examples. They are the remnants in our minds of a time in which we all remembered. How else can we explain the hypnotic effect this creature has on all who dare experience her.
There is a fan-made video where somebody adds the backing track to Angelina's vocals and it is amazing, her timing matches the backing track music impeccably, it's unreal
Put yourself in the rest of the competitors minds. I’m sure most of them aren’t even old enough to realize they are listening to a phenom that’s competing against them, but they have already lost. I agree with others who say continue watching the next two performances on NGT. The confidence of Angelina just blossoms over the course of her four performances.
The last two performances on Norway got talent are the best Nina. "Bang Bang" and in the final "Summertime" Do them in that order. Her rendition of "Summertime is breathtaking!
Listen to the Billie Holiday version and see how she was incorporating a number of Holiday's vocal mannerisms (the "bendy, loopy" parts), as she did on "Gloomy Sunday". She grew up singing along with her grandmother's record collection, and Billie Holiday was a favourite. "Summertime" on N.G.T. is good, but if you want to jump ahead, don't miss the black and white video of her "I Put A Spell On You" when she was 9. That's a whole other thing.
This was an elimination round to cut down the number of contestants. There is video of this performance with the original backing track and it shows how incredibly Angelina performed like she was channeling Billie Holiday in her young body. Beautiful, and her later performance of the song at 11 yrs old and on her Album It's Magic is also incredible. Yes please finish the last 2 performances as singing ability advances by leaps and bounds. Just incredible as she comes into peak performance ability which she carries forth from this point onward. Love your reactions and informative comments. Thank you. 👣
Hi Oh Lee, hope you're doing good. I am a big fan of AJ while I am sure you too, because I seen you almost in every reaction video comments. I became a bit worried not long ago about AJ's last live concert where she sang Mount Everest etc.. I noticed her voice like she's struggling for breath. I know that it was first concert after long break due to covid. I am worried she either had covid in the past or she just lost the ability of breath control? Or it could just be her way of becoming older affected her breath. I am sure you noticed it and would love to know if it's nothing.
@@TroyArchAngel I hope you are doing well also Troy. Sorry I did not notice that and will wait to see if your comment gets any replies to verify it. I will also take another look when I get a chance. However, I do think it unlikely as I'm sure Republic Record is providing professional vocal coaches to advise and look after her voice. I would draw your attention to her soulful belting during her performance of 'Million Miles' live at the events. I'm sure you're aware of the one I am referring to. She hits that note and holds it far longer than any of her previous performances of the song. Let's see if any one else has your concerns. Maybe post it as regular comment instead of a reply and let's see what the Angels, many of who were there, thought are on this. Still I didn't notice but will take another look and let's see. Love that you are giving Angelina that much attention and are concerned about her health. We all hope her health will be excellent going forward.
@@OleOlson121 Thanks for the reply buddy, I will post it somewhere more important than here so it will surely be seen. I hope nothing is bad about this. I remembered too, she has a performance in concert wearing a red suit doing Bohemian Rapsody where it shows clearly that her breath is not the same as it was in the AGT Rapsody. But I will check too some of her latest on tiktok maybe I'll get the answer there.
@@TroyArchAngel We should keep in mind that Angelina never sings a song the same was in subsequent performances. Perhaps the performance as Alsang Pa Grensen required an adjustment in breath control
@@TroyArchAngel We have to keep in mind that at the time she sang Bohemian Rhapsody, she was probably still affected by jet lag (9 hours I believe), and it was also windy and a little chilly from what I could tell. I did not see any telltale of breath control problems on Mount Everest though.
What a lovely reaction, Nina. Thank you! Your analysis is so interesting too. Might as well watch the amazing final two performances on NGT, each one better than before.
Thank you again Nina. Luckily for the other contestants, Angelina was held back to be the last one to performe. They all had to sing a-capela, unless they played an instument by themselves, as part of the performance. Angelina choosed to take it one step further with Billie Holiday. This stunning performance are still growing it`s impressiveness on me since I first heard it some 10 years ago. The compleet controll she shows, at barely 8 yo, is to me out of this world. And even in such not-a-straight-line song. She`s carrying out so much of the Billie Holiday feel of the song, and with such eas. Simply another heavy jaw-drop for me. This round of performances was giving non judge feed-back for the contestance, other than yes to go further to the semifinals or not. I`m looking forward to see you experience her great NTo me the NGT is a point of before and after in my 60 year + long life. Nothing less. 🤩 👣 BTW; - at 11 she recorded another great version of this song for the album "It`s Magic". And magic it is, no doubt🤗
If you go back and listen to miss Holliday sing this , then listen to Angelina sing it with your eyes closed its freaky just how good she really was here
I agree with everyone. The last two performances on NGT. We want you to see how she improves from song to song in such a short time, exponentially. She has been improving at that pace right up to today because of her dedication to hard work. And of course her natural born talent doesn't hurt either. Thanks in advance. You're fast becoming one of my favorite reactors to Angelina. Ron from California USA
Corky, of course there was a great progress, you have to remember that she spent almost 8% of her life at NGT from the first performances (November 2013) to the last (may 2014). 😊
@@geirstianaaslund7141 True, but most kids do not have the focus, commitment, and work ethic that Angelina had and continues to have. I have to chuckle, I am married to a mathematician. 😄
Hallo Nina, thanks for another Angelina Performance. Good Idea to react her other two NGT Songs Bang Bang and Summertimes. Then you understand why she won NGT in a landslide. She got better in a short time with every Song. You want to see her as a crazy powerhouse 😎then try her rendition of SJH ..I put a spell on you 🥳 you will never forget a 9y old girl ❤️ to be under her spell😇
The video you chose is the abridged version. She actually also sang the 45-second bridge, which is shown in full in some other clips. Someone even compared it to the Billie Holiday recording and was able to show that Angelina's maintained virtually perfect tempo even without music. Angelina recorded the same song for an album she recorded when she was 11/12. Her grandmother filmed a run-through from inside the booth, versions of which are easy to come across on UA-cam but here's a rehearsal where she gets in the 'zone' by wearing a Billie Holiday trademark single flower in her hair. ua-cam.com/video/yXQuhtztpp4/v-deo.html
Nina, you really hit it with "YOU HEAR 5 SECONDS AND SHE STOPS YOU IN YOUR TRACKS" ...what a true statement about Angelina. I do think you are taking the best pass, her NGT on up is really a smart way to watch a musical genius grow in age and skill set. Subject Change: If you are interested in Musical prodigy Journeys ...I highly recommend a 3 sister rock group from Mexico "The Warning" they started out at 13, 11 and 8 years old and went viral with Metallica's "Enter Sandman". 11 years later, and they are consider Rocks future, great documented journey like Angelina. Love your reviews!
As an 11-year old, Angelina sung I'm A Fool To Want You in a studio rehearsal of song for her album It’s Magic. The music in background was by The Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces (in Norwegian Forsvarets stabsmusikkorps). Angelina is reading the lyrics from a cell phone. She also is getting feedback from people including her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani, including with excited reactions by Angelina. Yet when she sings, she flips a switch each time and does a highly emotive version. Pretty amazing: ua-cam.com/video/79tM-Spcr1Q/v-deo.html
Don’t skip forward! Stay with NGT. The next two performances are Stunning. No other word to describe them. Then find the black and white version of “I Put A Spell On You”. She was 9 at the time. Black and white version only! Thanks for your great reactions to Angelina.
Wrong clip ;-) There's a longer version, here the middle part was cut, which you don't notice, as she keeps her relative pitch constant through the whole performance. Several people did put it on to a backing track by doing a slight global pitch correction, and adding to the pauses. The results were amazing, here is an example: ua-cam.com/video/0V6y8Nv5uRo/v-deo.html
My suggestion would be to finish with the other two NGT performances as well as "Fly Me to the Moon," "I Put a Spell on You," and "Feeling Good" to explore the best preteen singer ever. Obviously, her most brilliant performances are her recent ones, but while other singers become known as teenagers and some have comparable talent I haven't seen any that come close at the younger ages. Honestly, all of her roughly 200 performances are brilliant other than a handful that I found to be merely average, so you could just pick songs you like and wouldn't go wrong. Don't overlook her original songs including the ones that predate her recording contract.
Thanks for taking the time to continue reacting to Angelina's NGT performances. Another great reaction & analysis of another masterful Billie Holliday classic cover. Please continue with her last 2 - Bang Bang & Summertime. What truly amazes me is that at 7 years old Angelina sings in perfect English & the same style as Billie. Some have asked why she went on NGT at the age of 7. (Well she actually wanted to go on when she was younger, but 7 was the minimum age :). By the time she performs Summertime, she has turned 8. And 2 of my favorite performances by her are shortly after she wins NGT: What A Difference A Day Makes performed outdoors in Norway at a summer music festival & Fly Me To The Moon performed in the US on the VIEW. (It's her debut US performance & it includes a short interview where she answers the question as to how old she was when she started singing.) Thank you. And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.
Wonderful reaction and nice little break down of 7 turning 8 Angelina. Do the next one which is "Bang Bang" from the Nancy Sinatra cover and she still makes it her own and she's 8 at this performance. She'll finish the competition with her version of George Gershwin's "Summertime " ❤👍
Thank you very much Nina for the wonderful reaction/analysis with 7- 8 year old Angelina. The phrasing and pitch are spot on and the Billy Holiday nuances she delivers A Cappella are quite astounding. My preference would be for you to continue on with the last 2 songs in this competition, next is "Bang Bang" (Nancy Sinatra/Sony Bono) and "Summertime" sung in the style of Ella Fitzgerald (a Gershwin song). BTW, there is a full version of this performance available, this one being the shorter version. Cheers, stay well and much appreciation.
Thanks Nina for this great and sensible reaction. This girl has an absolutely unique talent and taste and she is not afraid of anything, there are no impossible songs for her, she will always find a way to transform them with her extraordinary musical intelligence. I adored her absolute tranquility and ease of singing a capella, at that age and in such an exposed and stressful environment as in that NGT rehearsal, for she everything seems so natural!💛🧡❤
This is the video that shows the partial performance of Angelina singing "I'm a Fool to Want You", there is a clip of the entire performance. There is a later video of Angelina singing this song when she is older.

Hi Nina- Great to see you back! Yes, keep on with the NGT auditions. It really is amazing to watch her develop across these 4 performances. I think you'll be glad to have done them sequentially. You mentioned how she may have felt surrounded by the other contestants here while performing. Imagine how they felt watching her... Looking forward to your next one!
The video I've linked below contains English closed captions already imbedded into the video. This video has a lot more pre- and post-performance content, which are missing in all other UA-cam links for this performance. The NGT 4 video begins a lot like an AGT spotlight would, featuring the singer. While she now has 2 permanent teeth, side-by-side, she's still so small that her feet stick straight off the edge of the bench she sits upon. She talks about her experiences on the show and what she's about to show us. This is followed immediately by her singing "Summertime" in the style of Ella Fitzgerald's and Louis Armstrong's rendition. The third segment of NGT 4 contains the judges speaking to Angelina about the effect she has left each of them with. Many of their comments are quite prophetic, and they are called to mind again and again whenever I hear her sing. Two of these judges appear alongside Angelina in several UA-cam videos, weeks and months after she won. The final segment of this NGT video contains the naming of the three highest scoring performer(s), and from there, the naming of the victor. This segment runs almost 5 more minutes. At a minimum, I recommend you play the first 3 segments. Then, if you want to see this littlest angel winning the 2014 competition, you would include the last segment. NGT 4 - "SUMMERTIME" (spotlights Angelina, pre/post performance, winning NGT, and has English CC) - ua-cam.com/video/zN4kAof1is0/v-deo.html
There are so many amazing artist out there, that are incredible artists, but I have to say this, I have yet to hear anyone that has Angelina's style and way of singing. There is no one out there doing what she is doing vocally. Even at this age she is already so unique in how she delivers her vocals, just Stunning
You might like to compare this with the version she did for her album It's Magic when she was 11. There is a video of her in the studio recording it with the live band. Otherwise, I recommend moving forward with the Norway's Got Talent performances, since you've now done two of them. Next is Bang Bang, and then comes Summertime. This short clip was missing the middle section ("Time and time again") because it was too long for the show (it was an elimination round), but there is a full version out there. When I first heard it I thought, "She's pitched too high, surely?" but when I heard it with Billie Holiday's original backing (yes, someone has mixed this a cappella version with BH's soundtrack) and it all makes sense. P.S. I feel sorry for the girl in red behind her. Watch her reaction right at the end, as the video fades.
The next NGT's performance is the rendition of Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang" and the finale is Gershwin's "Summertime". Respectfully, that should be the order. Approximately two years later she performs "Summertime" again and that is also worth a look to note her musical progression.
Hi Nina great reaction thanks, there’s another version of I’m A Fool To Want You studio version when Angelina is 11 years old which is phenomenal and Angelina’s Grandma is involved in production, but also Angelina’s winning performance Of Summertime is absolutely phenomenal on NGT!
@@ninaschofield if you react to Summertime please listen out for the subtle non to Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald... it is something I have only seen one other reactor spot.... It strikes me as quite remarkable...
@@mrstlu4838 yes ! She almost whispers a line sung by Louis Armstrong in his duet with Ella Fitzgerald... "Don't you say no"... I have always thought it remarkable that she did that.
@@geoffreynorth9046 It’s giving us an idea as to how she constructs a song? I wonder how many strands of music she keeps in her head at the same time! It is not much of an exaggeration to say she has a whole orchestra up there. I just marvel at her voice …
Nina, Yes, continue with NGT. Nancy Sinatra's 'Bang Bang' and George Gershwin's 'Summertime' for the grand finale! Then, do a double video on one of your video's featuring Angelina singing 'My Funny Valentine' at 10 years old (2016) and at 16 years old (2022). This is a wonderful opportunity to see the dramatic change in the power of her vocals but the emotional tie to the audience doesn't change. That is a constant.
There's a later video of Angelina doing a recording take of this same song at age 11 for her (EP? Album?) It's Magic. The original video has very quiet backing tracks and the audio is either a feed from the board pre-mix or just the ambient audio in the vocal booth. I tear up just thinking about how beautiful it is. I'm going to link the video I'm talking about because there's also a fan-made version that substitutes the final mastered vocal. The original is here: ua-cam.com/video/79tM-Spcr1Q/v-deo.html
Thanks a lot for another great reaction to Angelina. I would strongly suggest you do the two last performances on Norway's Got Talent. The to last performances are"Bang Bang" and "Summertime". Both beautiful performances by Angelina at 8 years old. She had just turned 8. Much love from Norway 🇸🇯❤️🔥👍
You are so sweet, love your reaction. I say the other contestants should have been scared after listening to Angelina. She had this confident look about her and the sounds just floated out with ease. It hit me at the end as she was feeling grateful and thanked the judges. I say continue with the other 2 sons from NGT. You will see her skills advance.
Like Angelina, you are in another league. Your reactions, especially to her, are just beautiful. I sincerely do hope you will react to her final two NGT performances. I am anxious for you to see the amazing growth in her vocal ability in only a few month's time when she was 7-8.
Nina, I would suggest this for your next wonderful Angelina reaction. Skip ahead to her Billie Holiday channeling , 12-year-old version of the same song to hear her growth. Then for your next video, do a double reaction of her last two songs from Norway's Got Talent: Bang Bang and Summertime. They are short enough that they fit very well into one reaction. You will love it! I'm a Fool to Want You (12) ua-cam.com/video/SGx0djXTXQk/v-deo.html Bang Bang ua-cam.com/video/HCaDyiqs7Wg/v-deo.html Summertime ua-cam.com/video/443pBSpx5B4/v-deo.html
Definitely finish the NGT performances. I think they were, collectively, filmed over a real-time period of several months. Her teeth have grown back in by the final performance! You get less Billie Holiday and more Ella Fitzgerald by the last performance "Summertime". As you continue listening, you'll understand why we call her "The Girl of 1000 Voices". So many ways to color her voice to fit a mood or lyric!
The pressure was not on for Angelina here (she looked so confident and relaxed here), but I think it must have been a bit intimidating for the others to see/hear such a talented little girl. For them the pressure was certainly on....
Very nice reaction. It's a pity that this version was cut by the TV and 30 seconds were missing, only to show the jury in between. But even with the cut you don't notice any difference in Angelina's singing, who also obviously has a built-in metronome. Clock and pitch are perfect at all times. I recommend the black and white version of "I put a spell on you". Her arrangement with a jazz band, at the age of just 9, blows every listener out of the water. ua-cam.com/video/nwFloCPXzCs/v-deo.html
I always enjoy your professional observations and commentary. Aside from her stellar vocal ability at such a young age, the classic and somewhat obscure (to younger audiences) songs Angelina chooses to perform are equally surprising and satisfying. Three of my all-time favorites which will evoke much of your excellent commentary are: "Fly Me To The Moon" (with Rosie O'Donnell on The View when Angelina was 8), "A Million Years Ago" (accompanied by a guitarist who's quite enthralled when Angelina was 11), "It's A Man's World" (with full orchestra in outdoor concert when she was 12) ! Three of my favorites from her recent years are "Billie Jean" (distinctly jazzy at age 13), "Holding Out For You" (very funky at age 15) and "Love Don't Let Me Go" (perfect pop song at age 17 released in past months). Of course, she's covered about 150 other songs, each of which will surprise and delight you ;-)

ANGELINA! 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Agree 1000$ 🌺🌺🙏❤️
Love your comments
Thanks so much Larry!
I am so glad you finally got around to Angelina Jordan, Nina, most lovely one,.,,,
You only have. About 140, or so, to go, but hurry, B4 her album release!!!!
any performance by Angelina is very worthy of reacting to. In 70 years i have never ever seen or heard anyone with her ability either male or female in the musical field
By the way, her record is coming out next month from Republic Records. She is 17 years old today!

There is some time between the performances .. you can actually see her getting better

Angelina Jordan is an ORACLE
Oracles have existed in human form in every culture around the world.
Spot on comments! Thank you
Put yourself in the rest of the competitors minds.
Thanks for the great reaction. Please watch the other two performances of Norway's got talent. It sets a good foundation for the rest.

I agree with everyone. The last two performances on NGT. We want you to see how she improves from song to song in such a short time, exponentially. but to be fair imagine the other contestants watching this thinking meh "how do I compete with that" !!!🤣
The video you chose is the abridged version.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Incredible talent...
Those subtle touches in her voice! Thank you for your enthusiasm and the joy you share as you give your thoughtful comments.
Next should be “Bang Bang”, her 3rd performance on NGT
Great reaction and for sure the next 2.
Bang Bang and Summertime. With subtitles if you find it.
I really love her version of Valerie or Unchained Melody or How Great Thou Art
i enjoy your reaction to AJ thank you
Thanks Nina for this great and sensible reaction.
Nina, she was channeling her idol Billie Holliday here. I listened to the original, and it´s uncanny close to Billie.
Elmar from Germany.
Finishing Angelina's NGT performances is a great idea. After that consider the following:

Definitely continue on with NGT. I look forward to your analysis of "Bang Bang" and "Summertime"!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
That was the most amazing performance I have ever seen...
The next NGT's performance is the rendition of Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang" and the finale is Gershwin's "Summertime". Respectfully, that should be the order. Approximately two years later she performs "Summertime" again and that is also worth a look to note her musical progression.
Yes that is so lovely and shows so much growth again!
Oh interesting! So much to watch!
@@ninaschofield if you react to Summertime please listen out for the subtle non to Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald... it is something I have only seen one other reactor spot.... It strikes me as quite remarkable...
@@geoffreynorth9046 Under her breath .. ?
This version cuts the middle part out so her accapella is even more impressive with the longer edit.
Thank you so much Ron! I’ll definitely be checking out the other two performances 😊
I'm a Fool to Want You (12) ua-cam.com/video/SGx0djXTXQk/v-deo.html
Bang Bang ua-cam.com/video/HCaDyiqs7Wg/v-deo.html

Definitely finish the NGT performances. I think they were, collectively, filmed over a real-time period of several months. Her teeth have grown back in by the final performance! You get less Billie Holiday and more Ella Fitzgerald by the last performance "Summertime". As you continue listening, you'll understand why we call her "The Girl of 1000 Voices". So many ways to color her voice to fit a mood or lyric!
Almost exactly 6 months between Gloomy audition and Summertime final.
they were all nodding yes, so even though they said nothing, they let everyone know
Perfect pitch, timing, top that with a perfect voice
absolutely HAUNTING
I was at NWGT
Of course, she's covered about 150 other songs, each of which will surprise and delight you ;-)
3 more performances-Gloomy Sunday, My Baby shot Me Down & Summertime
