  • Using skills from my years working as a butler I restore this vintage globe trotter suitcase.
    The tools I use are:
    leather restorer amzn.to/3PpW2PR
    kiwi shine and protect amzn.to/48proPf
    Brasso metal polish amzn.to/46m4KW6
Established in 1897, our cases are synonymous with the Golden Age of travel. And to this day, the shape and style of many of our products remain unchanged. Production still takes place by hand in England. We apply the same attention to detail, using some of the same production methods and machinery of the Victorian era. Possibly our most timeless and enduring innovation is Vulcanised Fibreboard. An unfathomable feat of strength that is yet to be imitated successfully and has kept our cases incredibly strong but impossibly lightweight for 125 years and counting.

I wonder if you’d like the Saddleback Leather Grandfather suitcase. Have a look.

Wondering how to restore a cardboard guitar case (faux leather), especially retaining the many labels and stickers. So how to glue down the labels, how to glue down the peeling faux leather, and what to use to "shellac" it when done?

Hi thank you for your questions. It's a bit more involved than I can really explain easily via writing. Somewhere in my shed I have a 1960s bad similar to your description. I will try and find it and do a video fixing it up! I would like to use it so this is a great excuse!
