Hi Ben. I really liked this video. Watching it made me so happy to see you driving your old ‘9 and smiling so much.
Awesome, thank you very much for turning the DadB9 into such a special car. The whole team at BR are masers of their craft and super friendly. I’ll see you again soon when we collect it and see the finished paintwork! 🤩
Just imagine if they had gone full 'Blofeld'.....
I’m a dad of 2 (9 months and 5 years old) and considering buying a 2014 DB9. I can’t actually believe this channel exists and going through all the DB9 videos. Great content and thank you. I’m a complete newbie to this car world so all this advice is appreciated!
Old times revisited 😊

I watched Jay`s video when he spent £10,000 and it seems it was very well spent. Hopefully The AM won`t have any more expense other than basic annual servicing by AM people ( Bamford Rose ) Looks like someone is going to get into a good `un.
Yep it’s amazing, someone is getting a diamond
Great video Ben, gone but never forgotten, DadB9 forever ❤
🥹🙌
Hmmm, gonna have to buy her back Ben!🤦🏻♂️😄
If I had the funds, trust me I would 🥲
@@dadcars
For sure!
I’m going to look at my first Aston tomorrow! A 2006 DB9 in metallic black!
Mmmm, can’t wait! If I buy her she will be getting the BR primary de cat treatment!
👍
@@oggie1967 update mate? Did you buy it?
@@JammNickk subject to a pre purchase inspection, I DID!!🎉
Never driven anything quite like it!
Snug fit inside but oh my!😂
Love the way it auto blips on the paddles in sport mode!
Can’t wait for her to come home!👍
@@oggie1967 brilliant news sir! Definitely a good buy and looking forward to a walk around on your own channel maybe. Can't help but notice the truxton on your profile too, I've got an FE on order 👍
What a bloody lovely guy. Cheers from NZ mate. Love your channel along with James and Jack at No. 27. I'm sure somewhere down the track you'll find a way to get another DB9 on your driveway. And your girls will be queuing up for the keys!!! 🤣
Thanks man 🤙 glad you found the channel :)
I know you've been around the car since the swap with James, but was it a bit surreal to be back behind the wheel of your old car?
Yeah it was actually… made me miss it for sure
If you didn't miss the db9 something is seriously wrong with you
Brill video……… James and Bamford rose have made an amazing difference to the DB9!!!
Trouble is that you are now driving a Jaaaag!!!! And that will be interesting!!
Good luck 🤞
Regards
Ian👨🎤🇳🇿👍👌😂😂
The jag is so wonderful on a run! 🤙😎
Love the vid and the revisit so much. And hey, my 2011 Dadb9 has that same creak, what did you say it was?
Awesome! I’m not 100% sure how they did it but BR fixed it 😅 it’s very common as the temperature changes throughout the year and materials expand and contract
Keep working hard and hopefully in a few years after trading down and back up you’ll get another!
Thanks man 🤙 fingers crossed :)
Great vid, always nice to see the dadb9. Yep I’ve got to look at my rear parcel shelf as it rattles. Mines in winter storage at moment and I miss it. Might have to go and get mine made louder 👍🏻
Yeah they definitely need to be uncorked even more so than just removing the fuse I’d say. The BR subtle switch mod is super sleek as well 👌
Great to see you back in the channel starter. Loving the direction you’ve taken with having other suitable cars though and can’t wait to see it built up to an FF parked outside your place ;)
Thanks Jonny 🤙
Definitely sounds a lot better but abit too loud for my liking
👌😎
Great to see you finally back in the DadB9, I knew you’d enjoy it 😉😎
Yeah you got to drive it before me! 😅
Hi Ben hope your doing good.
I loved the video. The car sounds awesome.
Sounds incredible now!
Top vid and a great car 👍
🤙😎
Was waiting for this video!
🤙😎
Happy memories :)

Thanks for sharing Ben 🙏
🤙😎
As a 20 year old with a dream, thank you and James for living my dream
🙌😎 you can do it 💪
Great video! I used a similar strategy to get into Aston ownership - find the best car you can afford and use depreciation to your advantage. Helps if you're also the mechanic!
It's Sad that you sold my dream car mate, i really enjoy videos with this beast, hope you gonna have more subs))) cheers
Really interesting feedback. I am looking forward to buy a DB9 in ~4 years and was thinking about getting a few upgrades (starting with the engine map for fuel economy) every year while doing the annual servicing at Bamford Rose. (I'm french so it will be during a week off 😅)
Thanks for the video. Long live the Dadb9
Long live the DadB9 🙌😅
I live in the US but I love the reviews from the UK. You and James are amazing reviewers. I really hope your channel get off the ground like a supersonic jet fighter…
Ah thanks man! Appreciate the words of support 🙏😊
Lesson to be learned: all cars are gems. Just whether or not still in the rough or rock.
They are still timeless ... v12 roar. I deleted the factory resonator and X pipe on my mazza 4200 and replced with a straight X pipe after the performance cats ... oh the difference 🤤
Awesome! I love that V8 engine 😚
Such a beautiful car. Love it
😎👌
Having to trade mine in due to health issues and get a high SUV. You had an Elise, had a 1998 S1 god that car was a laugh in so many ways 😂👍
Impossible to look cool getting out of an elise 😅
I really enjoy the contrast between JayEmm's "sort everything" style and your slightly more real world take, both are interesting
😊🤙
I do often dream of driving again my previous loved cars. Non had the Jay magic done to them, though 😁
I’d love to drive my mk2 MR2 again 😅
Love it!
🤙
You’ll always have those family memories, Ben. I’d feel exactly the same, but would try and see it as James ensuring the DadB9 lives on for a lot longer in the lifestyle it deserves. As a wide eyed mid-twenties car enthusiast, I remember these launching and being besotted by the looks from day one. I’d also bite his hand off if I had the spare cash 😂
Yep fingers crossed I’d love it to go to a DadCarsist! 🙌😊
Stunning car, now even better than before! At some point i gotta own a Aston Martin. Lovely looking cars.
I highly recommend you do if you get the chance 🤙
Hi, Can I ask what You do for living ?
You will always be DaDB9 to us. :)
Very interesting to see and hear the car after the work. Might have to save up for mine to get the same treatment !
🤙😎
Lovely all round package 👍
Makes me miss my C63 ,
The DB9 is on my radar for sure...............👍
Hoping to get a C63 on for review this year
@@dadcars look forward to that and keep up the good work 👍
Great video this Ben, great hearing about the upgrades from your experience owning the car. Look forward to the day you have your own AM fleet, looking forward to more content.
Thanks Adam! I’m heading in the opposite direction with the trading down series at the moment but I’m sure I’ll own another Aston eventually 😊
@dadcars absolutely, I have been enjoying the trading down, I get far too attached though I wouldn't be able to let go! Ha.
This video is about science.
They’re a lot of car for the money
Agree 💯
is it 10k worth spending on an auto ?
I’ve driven a manual DB9 and I think the touch tronic II box suits the car better 🤷♂️
Thanks!
Thanks Frank! 🤙😊
@@dadcars Your welcome Ben.
God that sound is absolutely addictive
Really is!
I'm afraid I just simply look at DB9's like I do Bentley Continentals. No lust, they've had their time. For the price I'd much rather get a car with more classic longevity like an R8 or or 996/997 911. DB9's will be like the DB7's soon enough. They are just fancy expensive badges...same for RR.
