I have been teaching oil painting for several years but had to give it up due to health issues with toxic fumes etc. I miss the painting and the students. The is no greater joy than seeing the excitement and pride on their faces when a painting is finished. I want to get back to painting and teaching. Hope is to start classes at a Senior Center in January 2022. This will be my first painting for the classes. Thank you.

This wasn't my first painting but I'm not very experienced either. I really love how this turned out and this tutorial was absolutely amazing i would definetly recommend it and I also loved the encouragement. When I started doing the leaves, I didn't think they were good but when I finished I loved it so thank you this was amazing

Awesome video. We just watched this video for a quarantine paint birthday party with our family for our daughter's 14th bday. Everyone was able to follow along and complete the painting. A 3 year old to grandma & grandpa. Highly recommend this video for a paint party.

I went a little different with the colors and the palm trees but your guidance gave me confidence and knowledge. I have started a study book of brush strokes, info etc to help me. I’m thinking of starting/getting into acrylic painting, thoughts? My friend had a lady come to her bday party and had a painting thing we did, we all painted a sunset, not gonna lie a lot of people thought mine was one of the best (I honestly think I could do better and are a slight perfectionist when it comes to these types of things) and it was so much fun, I loved it! Still not sure as I tend to pick up hobbies and think I’ll stick with them then just stop doing those things lol.. I was thinking of starting out With cheap suppliesand see how it goes (Apple barrel for the brand of paint I think I’d start with)
Glad you found that you enjoyed painting! Remember painting is fun and a moment in time where you expressed something...
That's it. Perfection is overrated and each person has a different definition of perfection. Try to forget that, and paint just because you enjoy the process.
You can get by with the paints you have, so go for it. When you do need to get more paint, try the student grade liquitex basics (nice consistency). Painting is more about the process and using what you have to the best of your ability..... That's it, no pressure, just have fun 😊🎨😊happy painting
