When Porsche finally let the design team build a 911 the way it should truly be, you get the T… not a race car nor the fastest, but a pure sports car that is true to the 911 origin.
I am receiving my 911 T at the end of July and I CANNOT WAIT. I had the opportunity to drive my friends T and instantly fell in love. It is true Porsche expression, a genuine driver's car. It is crazy when people talk about the T being "underpowered". . . . They just don't get it. That's fine. As Porsche continues its march toward a hybrid 911 with the 992.2, the 911 T will be the car to have for Porsche collectors. Just wait.
Agreed, mine is at the port waiting for a boat to the US. I was glad to get a late build spot, expecting 2024 to have been one of those special years. Though I don’t suspect I’ll let go of it for a long time!
I have one in Gentian blue and love it but it doesn't sell because the average buyer doesn't understand it.For marketing it should have about 30 more bhp and its own eunic colors.Nice review.
I’m betting there isn’t a single owner in all these comments. My point ? The opinions of magazine cowboys that couldn’t start a 911, much less, qualified to advise others.
By the time you have specked the car you may as well get an S or GTS as in my opinion they are a better car performance wise and better investment. I think the T is over hyped and no faster than a hot hatch.
A GTS is $30,000 more. For $2,000 I can tune my T to just over 500 hp. Plus the T is 200lbs lighter over a GTS. I’ve had multiple high HP cars in the 700-800hp range. None of them are as much fun as the T to drive. The is a thing as too much HP.
The best capability is usability. Test drove the 992 GTS and wisely ended up with a 992 T. IMO (one seemingly supported by a bevy of reviewers and owners) is if you love to drive, the T is the better than the GTS. It hard to describe till you drive them both. You cannot look at specs on paper. Porsche has tuned an amazing drivers daily in the T. For me, that extra $30k-$40k for the GTS I would have regretted. The T drives better and the 385 hp is like no other 385 hp on the planet. Porsche has to be sandbagging the numbers. P.S. the 991.2 T has excellent residual value well in line with and superior to the GTS. So it’s also a good choice for the pocket book.
Can't get rear seat delete and some of the lightweight stuff on the S. Also T has a short shifter for manual and exclusive color/package options. S has bigger turbos.
@@MrSchn3ll Why would you want rear delete and the light weight stuff makes zero difference to the performance of the car. This is not a track car, its a road car with some track capability. The critical option is RAS.
That looks SO SEXY in yellow! I want one, I @#£% NEED one!
DO IT!
@@fastcarmagazine I'll go get the balaclava and sawn off........
@@davekennedy6315 if you’re going to that trouble, can you get us one too? 😂😂
I'm an owner and it is great! Racing yellow (no longer available) 7 speed manual definate a keeper.
Couldn't agree more!
I received mine in December. I agree, it's the best one in the range. It's kind of like a well-kept secret.
Great choice, sir!
Same, mine delivered December too and I'm just now getting to drive it thanks to some good weather this week

Bought mine in October 23. It had 1,000 miles on it. Previous owner spec’s it with a PDK. Just an amazing car to drive.
Glad you're enjoying the experience. What colour is your one?
@@fastcarmagazine black. Very hard to keep clean
Just got one with the 7 speed and aerokit in rubystar. Obsessed with it.
Lovely video ...Great car.
Thank you for the comment. Are you a Porsche owner?

Carbon Ceramics are not available on the Carrera T mate.
No ceramics available on the 992 unfortunately
They dont offer nice colors. Need to pay extra.

Would of been a very quick review if we couldn't start a 911.
I own one

That's a fair opinion.
You are wrong. Hot hatch is snail compared to Carrrera T. I know I am talking about.
I had a GTS and now a T. Much prefer the T

LOL, its an under powered S.
True. With options for buckets and fun bits.

It's 10k cheaper and you get some unique bits you don't get on an S. For me, that's enough
@@a004 Make sure you get RAS (its transformative).
Ours should be delievered mid April, been delayed since December, manual, carbon roof, buckets, rws
Sounds awesome! Good things come to those who wait.
