Thanks so much Lisa. I am obsessed with this technique. It's kind of a no fail method and gives the face a beautiful radiance with dimension. Enjoy your week. Sheena 💖
Hi Pam. There is no sure way to prevent transfer. Setting with loose powder can help and using a setting spray. If I am contouring my jaw line I tend to keep it just under the jaw and don't take it down any further. Likewise I don't take foundation down my neck. I blend it under my jaw and then use a little powder bronzer on my upper / mid neck area to create a seamless look if needed. 🌸
Hey there....How did you go when you tried this makeup technique? This is still one of my favourite and easy ways to give my face dimension and radiance without looking heavily made up 💖💖
Hi Renee. You mean you use powder to contour and highlight? On a mature skin powder can look dry and caky so I prefer to use creamy products which I find easier to blend, they are more buildable and they give a lovely glow to the skin. ✨❤
Awww I'm sure you look nowhere near 82 but the 50s can be confronting when it comes to aging. Our skin, face and bodies change so it can be a lot to deal with. What suited us in our 40s make not work in our 50s. Have fun with makeup and keep practising. Even a little bit can help us to feel better when we look in the mirror 🌺🤗
As I have a mature skin I don't like a matt effect as it can make my skin look dry and it can be aging. The goal is to have a glow but I understand that we don't want to look greasy. The best way to overcome this is to blot the entire face with tissue after application and then to use a damp sponge to press loose powder into the areas you want to matify. 🌺
Where do those of us with a ginormous forehead 🙋♀️ put the contour - higher up? I've been doing it all wrong in that case! I'd also love to know what to do to reshape a long/square jawline with a "double chin" look on the jaw (sides, not actually under chin) when one smiles. I don't even know if that makes sense, but I'm so aware of it when I take pictures and hate them all!
Beautiful! Thank you for this amazing video! So refreshing to see a natural look versus the heavily caked on makeup that many other women showcase.
Thank you so much for your comment. 🥰 I love a glowy natural look. 💖
Super helpful - thanks!

Thank you! How do you prevent contour or makeup transfer to collar??

Trying today! I'm just starting to notice the sinking effect of my "young" method of contouring, so excited to try this for a lift!
Hey Tara. How did you go with this? I absolutely love this for a quick sculpt and lift. 💖
I’m going to try tomorrow morning.

Tried and love it❤
Yay! So pleased. It's a great technique. A little scary at first but it blends out beautifully. Did you use Charlotte Tilbury? Sheena 😘
A qurstion-why you blend by brush and then again by beauty blender?
I've seen this technique for the last 10 years
Ha ha yes. It's not new. It's 101 in makeup but there is a focus on contouring these days and its nice to show how easy it can be.
Love this, Thank You❤
My absolutely pleasure. Enjoy the rest of your week. 😘
Thank you ❤
all these faces look so greasy after all these products you need to use. is there any way to have some kind of improved matt face effect?
