Thank you for the plant to pot ratio explanation. I’ve always wondered, as in the ground they have unlimited space, but the over watering makes sense! 👏🇨🇦❄️🇨🇦
There is quite a market for more rare indoor plants. The prices are a little crazy sometimes. If you wait, the prices will go down as people start to grow from seed or simply propagate!
Yea, there is a huge market for rare indoor houseplants. It’s gotten quite crazy, actually! I like to wait until the hype dies down a little bit and get a plant for much cheaper as more people start to grow from seeds/ propagate!
Beautiful plant and pot! Would you do a video to show the apartment? What are your plans for that space? You get nice light in the room you are in. Thanks!
The planter is amazing. Do you have other monstera's? I have recently in the last few years started growing them, and one that is huge and grows like its on steroids. I just realized that maybe it needed a growing medium, and have pruned it to start growing it vertically. When will you start growing this one up? I guess when it gets bigger.
I do have other monsteras. They definitely get quite large. The bigger they get they will want to climb. I will give this one a support spagnum moss pole once it get bigger! It doesnt have any aerial roots yet but when I start to see those I will provide the support pole!
Do you use just potting soil? Or do you add bark and things to the mix? I just bought my first one from Logees 2 days ago and I’ve wanted one for so long that im nervous to repot it! 😆
They do as they age. This is a young monstera. You can see the new leaf had one small fenestration. As the plant gets bigger and puts on more leaves the fenestrations will increase!
You have been so missed! So great to see you doing a video again! 😃👍🏻
I knew nothing about them ,except that I am amazed at some of the prices now of house plants in the last few years. The pot is gorgeous 🌿🍃
