    Whoever pick those game play clips did a good job. They were always very relevant to what was being said.

    @Uni_Papapapaさんの翻訳引用Q1(00:41〜)長いセットだと相手の行動を読むことに自信がある。

    I played on the main stage at RBBG last year. Even with the sound reducing headphones, you can feel the crowd roar when they cheer for you. It's a pretty awesome feeling. The nerves passed fairly quickly for me.

    0.0 Holy crap. It took *most* of that video to realize who you were. You're Chris T! It's a good thing you made this channel to get out in front of your rep. *Rarely* have I seen that much humility from a Pro. It's even more rare that I see interview questions poised to one of our Champions that are *so relevant.* You, sir, have gained a fan. :) Two things to consider: One: I'm surprised Diago did not mention more about the Art of Detachment. Every fight is the *first* fight. One thing a great opponent will *always* use against you, Psychologically speaking, is the "weight" of the match. Deny that "weight." Let *them* carry it. Two: Read "the Tao of Jeet Kune Do." Why? I could tell you that for your mindset (Defensive/Moderate/Opening/Execution) there may be a better answer than Ken. Why listen to me though? It's best if you "hear" it from a true master. Diago is right though. Everything else seems on point. It's the attitude and emotional reaction to the game you love that might need evaluation. I sincerely hope that helps and apologize sincerely for pre-judging you based only on what I'd heard. Thanks muchly for the lesson about the things that *i* need to improve on! :)

    im only a 1500 sf4 player. so i dont know. but wiff punishing isnt about reacting, its about reading the guess and having the inputs in motion. understanding whos turn it is, when the opponents wiff turn is happening and guess inputting at the correct delay. feeling when they will throw, and starting the push before the finish, because anything else is too late.

    many times daigos ume's dont work. he knows how to wait and wait and take his loss, which gives him a very small advantage to hit. it its very small. basically he is just reading the pressure and guessing. but its his character and patience that give him that option. guile - evil ryu - ryu - yun. perfect examples. choosing a different main skews the balance of these rules. of course FlashFire Ken would ask these.

    stop imagining that you are reacting and punishing. whats really happening is that you "felt a high probability" of a wiff, and you used inputs before the true reaction, so that they are happening at the same time basically, and your read worked. i doubt its because you saw a 15 frame move and ninja'd back.

    • @TaigaUppercut
      @TaigaUppercut 6 років тому

      That's the thing, that's only in SFV, in sf4 and most games. You can actually whiff punish on reaction, in this game, only certain moves can be whiff punished on reaction instead of most of them, if you swing preemptively on a guess that they will whiff then you run the risk of being crush countered because you are coming simultaneously and not after like a true whiff punish, this is what makes whiff punishment in this game hella impressive when it's done.

    Sounds USF4 is like chess and SFV is like some casual board game where randomness matters more. Never played USF4 but it seems a better game

    • @SoulFlameXXX
      @SoulFlameXXX 6 років тому +2

      Frank You You had to guess both games. The only reason randomness (there is no such thing in fighting games btw if it works it works) works more often in SFV is because they have less defensive options. Sfiv had a bit more defensive options and bullshit option selects (crouch teck) which capcom never took out.
