I tried listening to Haunt Sweet Home on a long drive this weekend but when I realized that it was making my drive seem even longer, I DNFd it. It’s nice to hear it wasn’t just me.
Oh heaven help me, I need donuts NOW. I always start craving whatever food Gabby is eating during her vlogs; it’s a wonder I haven’t gained weight since finding this channel. But it’s worth it because she also keeps me obsessed with books… ❤
Blackcurrant is mega popular here in the U.K. we have it as a juice that you add water to and almost every home has some in their cupboard. It’s so good!
I also didn't love Haunt Sweet Home 🥲 The Laws of the Skies has been on my radar foreverrrrr but I've never gotten around to it - sounds like I need to bump it up my TBR! Also those doughnuts look incredible and I'm sad to find out I don't have a location near me lol
Height is funny. As a kid in school usually I was among the taller students. After school I took a job at Merrill Lynch and I get into the crowded elevator and easily I'm the shortest one! Anyway, where I live now mostly I'm taller, largely because we are for the most part an older population. I think maybe tv and the print/ad mediums favor long legged models, or maybe that was just in the past, idk.
I was thinking this too. But then I was thinking maybe it would feel like you’re short even as an average height woman because you’re comparing yourself to all people, not just all women.
@Charlottemodel2 You're right. It doesn't matter if they are a man, woman, both, neither, or in between if they are tall, you will definitely feel short lmao 😂.

Realized a couple of hours ago I must have downloaded Home Before Dark sometime last year, or the one before that (I'm only now returning to the world of the living : )) so I'll be reading that this week and maybe next week too. @@vlcice5 Thanks very much. I have a chronic disease but received a life-saving kidney transplant in February. It could potentially increase my life several years. Also, a lot of the pain is gone too, so I'm glad to be recovering but there are lapses still. Thanks again.

Can't imagine how tough it must be, tiring bearing all the pain all the time and potentially a bit scary. It's nice to read that you are doing better and I for sure hope, wish and pray for you to recover as much as possible and have a long and fulfilling life. So you better don't give up and give your story tons of sequels. take care
