Born and raised in Chicago. We’re in the burbs now but we love a weekend trip in the summer or holidays to hit our favorite spots like navy pier, taking in a show, seeing our old stomping grounds, restaurants, museums. It’s a beautiful city , glad you enjoyed.
I was born and raised here so I obviously love it. I also work right on the river so I always go outside for lunch and see the tour boats pass by. I’m glad you all had a good time! Next time you should definitely visit in the summer. You can take a ghost tour, watch a Broadway show, go to a Cubs game, there’s so much to do!

I love Chicago and have been a bunch of times for work - my company is actually headquartered on the same street as your hotel, like a 20-second walk away! Chicago is so open and pretty with all its parks. And I’m glad you loved the architecture boat tour, it’s awesome! Great time of year to go, too - I’ve often gone in December and it’s a windchill of like -20, it gets crazy cold! Even though I’ve been there a lot, I’ve never visited Bucket O Blood, so I’ll have to check it out next time! 🥰

🖤 I was in Lancaster Pennsylvania for the same weekend you were in Chicago. I live in NJ, so PA isn’t too too far, but it’s a good 3 hour drive. I love how different it is from NJ with all the wide open space and farms!

I'm glad you enjoyed Chicago. It's an amazing city. I lived in the midwest for 6 years and visited Chicago several times. One of my favorite places to go was the Museum of Science and Industry. It's incredible, so many amazing exhibits. I also visited The Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Natural History. And the food - so many wonderful places to eat. One of my favorites is the Berghoff. Lastly, I was thrilled to visit for the St. Patrick's Day parade and seeing the river died green.

Yes I love Chicago. My boyfriend and I have been to Chicago with my son especially when he was little and we went to the aquarium and Museums Etc. at least 5 times and we always do something fun. I would love to go to the Nutella place but unfortunately my son is highly allergic which sucks. Ha ha
