Hello Bob, Many thanks for this perfect presentation of this extraordinary event! I am always fascinated by these very well maintained and beautiful locomotives. But also with the historic buildings and other railway facilities, one feels transported back to a bygone era. Add to that the wonderful autumn weather, it all fitted together perfectly! I am very pleased that you found the opportunity to create such a beautiful film again after this difficult time for you. Best wishes, Gerhard
Hello Gerhard, Thank you for your kind comments - I'm glad you enjoyed the video and particularly that it has conveyed the meaning that I intended (not just the images and sounds of these magnificent locomotives). I remain surprised by how much re-learning I had to do after a two-year absence! Best wishes, Bob.
This was certainly to my mind the best camera work I have seen of these beautiful giants. And no doubt the perfect source of mental rest, Bob. love and hugs. Myram
Many thanks, Austin, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The gala content was one of the best there, even down to running on time. After a rusty start, taking the right tripod on Saturday really helped!
Many thanks, Bob, your kind comments are always welcome! Clan Line was undoubtedly the star of the show - I had seen it in the 1960s but then it didn't look or sound anything like it did this weekend.
Thanks again, Nick. It seems to have finished processing sometime overnight and all resolutions are there now. I'd be interested to know the level of improvement with 4k if you have time. Your kind comments are helping my confidence no end!
Great video.Greetings from Italy.
Many thanks, Mickey, and greetings from the Deep South (of the UK!).

Thank you, Myriam, you're too kind! Yes, to the mental rest but I definitely felt the effects of a lot of walking!
Fine set of shots from the gala Bob making for a very enjoyable watch. After the past few weeks the day will have done you a power of good

@@rjas365 My pleasure Bob, I remember her when she was based at Bulmers in Hereford. She's always in such pristine condition these days.
Excellent video Bob!☺
Many thanks, Nick. I'm not sure if you are seeing it in 4k because UA-cam is telling me it's still HD processing (2k and 4k).
@@rjas365 Will watch it again later Bob. 4k should be available. Great camera work.☺
