- Wow, this has been a pretty crazy couple of weeks for the wedding industry with the Coronavirus outbreak. A lot of people are unsure about how to respond to everything going on.

Hey guys! I know this has been a hard time for some of you! Harmony and I wanted to make this video to share some encouragement during this time :) How are you guys doing and handling everything?
We're wedding videographers from Hawaii where most of our bookings are destination weddings. There's obviously a HUGE decline in tourism and we've definitely taken a hit... but like you said there are some positive to this! We've also been taking the time to create social media content and starting to upload videos to our UA-cam channel too. Thanks for the encouragement!!

I'd love to add Branding Films for small businesses. While small businesses & creative entrepreneurs are enhancing their websites during this time - how about adding a Branding Trailer to their site. I've done this wedding photographers and they've said their bookings have increased through enabling people to know, like and trust them quicker

Hey, man! Thanks so much for sharing this. I watched most of the video, but did you mention anything in here about what you are doing about deposits for your spring and early summer weddings that may have been canceled? Are you refunding deposits? My wife and I run a full time photo/video business, @aldousphoto, and have had several couples ask for their deposit back. Since we are coming off of slow season from winter we don't even have the capital to refund everyone that's asking. Also our contract is crystal clear that the deposit is ours no matter what. A lot of people have rebooked on days we were still available for which was great and we just transferred there despot over to 2021 or later summer. But some people eloped and decided they no longer wanted our services, or rebooked on different days. Any advice for us on what to do? No one is threatening to sue or anything crazy, but we want to honor people. We had also done a ton of prep work for all the weddings canceled: location scouting, phone calls, timelines etc. Our deposits is only 1k on a total 5k contract. My wife and I also love Jesus (so stoked to have fellow Jesus people in the industry ) and thus thinking a ton about ethics and what Jesus would do etc. Thanks for letting me ramble on your youtube channel. hahah. Would love to hear your thoughts. Been super blessed by your info videos through the year and love your work a ton. Keep killing it!
I wouldn't give investment advice when people can potential lose money. Stocks is not as easy as buy now, it's low and it will definitely come back up.
It’s actually a really good time to buy now when it’s low since the stocks will go back up. Also Vangaurd makes it super easy and it’s very simple to set up. I agree with you however if you need the cash don’t invest since there is always a potential to lose money.
