Suzume Is Great, But It's Not Better Than Your Name & Weathering With You.

I went to see Suzume at Leicester Phoenix cinema today and I had a great time😀
While Suzume is impressive, I don't consider it to be on par with Your Name and Weathering With You.
I'd give this movie an 8 out of 10.

I will definitely get the Blu Ray or Suzume 4K collection. Of course I got Your Name 4K and Weathering With You 4K collection 😊

I felt the same. I don't think Suzume is a masterpiece comparing to Your Name and Weathering With You

Suzume on a story basis is above tenki no ko but below kimi no na wa for me, definitely a step in the right direction

Honestly I like Weathering with you, but it seemed at most times just a little weak and a little awkward. I think Suzume made up for all that and ended up even more interesting and had actual excitement. And it doesn't get any better than "Your Name" when it comes to Makoto Shinkai.
P.S. I think it's safe to say that all 3 movies involve disaster mixed with fantasy.
Your Name - Meteor shower/Time travel
Weathering with you- Floods/Weather Maiden
Suzume- Earthquakes/Worm Monsters.
