In the rv or camper industry this is called a televator..lol
Was expecting a bit longer demo when finished.Anyways great craftsmanship and footage.
I was thinking of doing this and I’m glad I found your tutorial cause I was just going to figure it out myself I was looking at those mounts on Amazon great idea!

why is the timber pink? pressure treated to be used outdoors?

At least one of those are bolts (i.e. screw != bolt)... :P
I guess for those of us that are over 2M tall, we just need to cut our feet off to benefit from this project. Hahaha.
