  • Today we are making this DIY walnut plywood TV stand that has a hidden TV lift from www.TVLiftCabinet.com/ ! This may look intimidating, but it can definitely be built by someone with basic woodworking skills.
    Thank you to www.TVLiftCabinet.com/) for sponsoring this video! Check out their really well made lifts and cabinets. Here is the version I used, but they have many variants for different sized TVs: fbit.co/BL9R

    *As clarification, 80% of TVLiftCabinet.com's cabinets are USA made, but their lifts are not USA made.

    Hi Nathan. This is great! One question I have, did you mount the lift to the side of the cabinet or bottom? And can you point to which exact mdoel was it? Cause I checked their website and all the lifts looked like they had bottom mounting brackets. Thanks

    • @NATHANBUILDS
      @NATHANBUILDS  2 роки тому

      Hey thanks! The lift mounts to the back of the cabinet. They have great directions as well so don't worry. Check out the video description for a link to the one I used. You can switch it up depending what size tv you want. However anything larger than the one I used will not work with my cabinet design so keep that in mind! You can increase the height of the cabinet if you need to accommodate a larger tv, but I thought the current dimensions looked best.

  • @josep7831

    I like it can you build one for a 75 inch tv 😊

    • @NATHANBUILDS
      @NATHANBUILDS  8 місяців тому

      You could definitely adjust to fit whatever size if they sell a big enough lift. The challenge was making the height of the cabinet not too tall so it still looked good. With a taller TV you have less options for that.

    Is this a soundless mechanism? I think if a hydraulic power or a pneumatic power cylinder is used, this mechanism will be a soundless one. But you have done well.

      This one has an electric motor and does have some sound, but I didn't find it to be annoying. Thanks for watching!

      Hey! You can check their store but if they don't ship to your country you can probably find similar products on stores like Amazon. Good luck!
