33:45 if you were doing a mid splice on say a 48f ribbon pealing out just 1 ribbon. what tool are you using to cut down the center of the plastic tube? very carefully with a hook blade or something like a jonard cst 1900?
Hey thanks for watching and subscribing 🙌 great question There is a few different mid sheath tools on the market depending on the size of tube you are trying to open. For small cable I use the jonard MS-6 midspan slitter they also have a few other sizes alll work great. For large cable I have the Corning mid span access tool also works great. question, is there a certain order to how the fibers are arranged when you splice them or does it not matter as they'll be known at the CO?
Have you ever used hockey tape instead of felt on transport tubes? We have to wrap all our transport tubes individually so it makes it faster for us.
