If it will drop long enough to reach the car window we do it that way. Splicing the side of the house we can drag in the splice point, splice inside, then drag it back out and wrap it like normal.
Do you use the screw in fiber ends or only splice? In Ky where I’m at we only use the screw in ones like what terminal you saw below your splice. Very cool! Very clean work. Fun to watch and see another tech putting out great product no matter what else is out there. lol.
This company only has a couple areas they bought out with the screw in MST plugs, every other build out has splice on both ends like this. I have a couple videos uploaded with the plug in style and the new place i work only has plugin.
The thick black lines coming into the box need broken open to expose only a few fibers needed to feed these 10 or so neighbors. Then the black lines daisy chain 5 to 8 houses down and they put up another box to split open that mainline for the next possible houses. The main line usually holds 144 fibers they will double up main lines and have even more.
I had done this job for 2 years and that was the first nap that ever had it for the tech or they forgot it. 99% techs leave it unsecured, and the drop flies out.
I wish they would make that connection in Florida, but they prefer not to offer service to my home. Good Job btw
Best channel name ever
I was thinking on going with....... Its not hard, Its light work.. but maybe thats to many words.
Nice work. Hello from Russia!
Congrads, I don't think I could work on a leadder like this. I think the blue tabe on 7:19 shuld be used instead of the black tape you used at 7:40.
well this was a interesting video, glad I clicked on it
Nice work sir !
No one outside working in their yard for a 5 bock radius..... except right under you. Thought it was just me with people always right in my way.
Yeah these videos are old and they always seemed to send me to the new build out areas. They have to look very messy by now.
Yo who ratted me out for peeing in the sump pump?
What cable do yall use and splice enclosures?
how do you do it when its windy or raining? why dont they put the splice enclosures lower on the pole so you'd only need a 6ft a-frame ladder?

Kinda of a dumb question but what does the box do?

I hope you at least picked up the glass shards from cleaving.
He let them drop in the grass below for the neighbor kids to find. Nothing like having a glass injector that travels to your heart... sloppy.
That was early in my fiber training, I switched to a cleaver with a trash bin.
That blue felt is ment to be cut and used for you’re tube not electrical tape. That’s what we use it for any ways

People always come out when you are trying to get work done.
No cones, No safety?
Edit: Nevermind Just saw a cone.
I LOVE YOU
Surprised you don't put a Fiber distribution block in
Wow, fiber optics looks tedious to work with, old RG6 seems so much faster and easier, BUT, how much data can go over those tiny fiber optics!!!
fastest recorded is 402 terabytes per second, where not here but world record
@@joeslightwork that's a lot of stuff
You always seem to be the first one in the tray
Are you in the fiber field?
@joeslightwork no, just a fan. I am a network administrator, so I design fiber runs.
only one company uses this primitive method of connecting to a pole!!! for everyone else everything will be easier, why they did it I don't know????
Hello, how are you? Let me ask you: What company do you work for? And does this company hire immigrants? And how do I do it?
If you're not legal and are a fence hopper, stay away from our jobs.
I love dont give a sh!t attitude (:
How mutch this work(connecr customer)?
Pre terminated is the only way to go so much time working at heights should just put drop up and screw in very backwards
change name dude?
