My favorites that are kinda masculine are Calle 23 by Sixteen Seventeen and Saffron and Tobacco by Makesy.

Totally agree with your selections. Alastair and Mojave both are manly and sophisticated scents. And agree with FC Birch and Black Pepper. No luck in container candle. Even in parasoy a blend, very smoky. However, in melts 50/50 blend with BB Tobacco and Bay Leaf= Powerful sexy man like nobody’s business.

Love the fragrance reviews that you do! You could make commercials because you’re so enthusiastic about the ones you love ❤️ I have a different question for you, though. I know you make cement vessels. I have made them for a few months now and finally burned a candle in one. I noticed the lower it gets, if I burn it for over two hours, the vessel gets pretty hot (like a bit over 152, which I know safety wise is not good) and I’m wondering if you have any comments or suggestions about that. Just love all of your videos!!! Like when I turn one of your videos on it just feels like home 😁
Hi Colleen!! Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m quite new to the concrete vessels but if mine was getting this hot, I would try wicking down first by one size and if that’s not enough by another. I hope this helps!! The candle will always be the hottest when the wax is about at the halfway point so you probably won’t need to test a full candle to be able to figure this out. Love and light always 💛🌱

You are correct on candle science leather, I can use the smallest amount and I'm talking about drops and my candle can sometimes remind me of gasoline. Is there a nice true leather scent that you use that works well without having to be so careful. I would really love a soft true leather fragrance. Thank you ☺️

Hi there! Ha ha ha! Fragrance is very subjective and to me that oil wouldn’t be considered “masculine.” I do greatly enjoy it though. Love and light always 💛🌱

I am not sure if this was a question asked. What are your thoughts of Makesy fragrances formally known as Wooden Wick Co. ? Have you tested their oils?
If you like gourmand, try Maple Chia and Sweet Cream from Makesy, too - I love it. A lot of people love Makesy fragrances, but other than the two I mentioned, I have a hard time finding ones I like (some border on acrid and others don't throw well). But that's just me. For more opinions on Makesy, go to these two channels: Upside Goods by Ashley Fathergill (SP?) and Nokomis Home Fragrance. Good Luck!

I purchase all of my wooden wicks from Makesy and I have experience with their soap bases and essential oils but I have never ordered fragrance oils from them. It’s about time I place an order for FO samples too because I have had a handful of you ask me if I had tried them!!! So, what I am doing now is making a list of ones I’ll order. Let me know if there are any you like or are curious about my opinion on and I will absolutely consider these when I place an order!! Love and light always. 💛🌱

Actually, Ashley Fathergill is what made me stray away from ordering oils from Makesy because she has talked about how poor their customer service has been and the frequent delays in getting shipments.
