I own every rush set you have and I joined your club thing for the year. Yiur tutorials are awesome BUT your brush sets are phenomenal. I love alcohol ink and own several sets. HOWEVER your Alcohol ink 2.0 and your original one are my favs and hold a permanent position in my brush library. Thank you for all your work on your brushes snd projects. I know I’m an always succeed when I do one of your projects. Might take awhile but I will get it.
Wow thank you so very much for your kind comment and all your amazing support! It's so great to hear that you like the brushes so much and that the tutorials are so helpful for you! Thanks so much for joining the 2021 bundle, there is a new brush set coming your way in a few days now!
What a beautiful bird! Love the process. Used to do something like this in watercolour, picking out different colours then outlining the pieces with a pen. A lot more tedious than this. You explain everything so beautifully. Thank for this wonderful tutorial
Awesome tutorial!! I’m going to have a go at this right now ❤️ I’ve got all your brushes, and I adore your AJ Painterly brushes, so I’m keen to try the marble/stone textures in this technique.
Outstanding! Who would have thought your stone and marble brushes could be used in this way? Well, obviously you would but most of us lack that imaginative talent LOL. I’ve painted several birds in acrylic and I’m eager to start “stoning" them. No birds will be harmed in the process! Also good to know that gold inlay will cover a multitude of oops 😊 Thanks heaps, Alaina. Cheers, Chrissie
You're welcome Chrissie, I'm so glad that you like the tutorial! It works great for flowers and other animals too, even Pet portraits! Yes gold and glitter is my go to technique for covering up all my oops 🙈😂
I love watching your tutorials. 😍 This is beautiful! I just purchased your alcohol ink set, I already had the gold rush and I’m over the moon with your brushes!! I am so grateful for having found you and your guidance. It helps tremendously. Some day, I’ll own every brush set you’ve made. 🤩🥳 Thank you for being out there. Love from Nordjylland 🇩🇰
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! It means so much to me that you are enjoying the brushes and videos so much, that really helps me overcome my stage fright to keep going! I lived in Denmark for 8 years and I was actually thinking of the marble inlay artwork at Rosenborg castle when I made this! 🇩🇰 Min mand er fra københavn.
Thanks so much for responding to requests! I wondered how I’d ever get to the end product - this is quite a process, but your step-by-step instructions make it easy to reproduce. 😀
No problem! I'd had quite a few requests for Stone & Marble designs so it had been on my list for a while. Yes this one is definitely a bit more detailed than I usually do, but luckily doesn't take a lot of drawing skills if you're working from a photo. I hope the instructions are detailed enough!
Alaina, I’m finding that when I select an area to add stone, in some cases, it is selecting more than one section. I can work around it, but wondering if you know what I might have done incorrectly.
When selecting the area, try sliding your finger left to before finalising the selection. This changes the threshold so that the selection criteria is more strict, not picking up as many different colors, and you should be able to see the selection changing as you side your finger.
Truthful Kindness here . Thanks again for tutorials !
You're very welcome!
Love this! TY! So happy to find your channel/work!
Thanks so much!

Wooow you inspire me so much... I think I need that brushset aswell... 😅
Can I ask what tripod you use when filming your tutorials?
Thank you! Sure it's an arm hanging from the windowsill that holds my phone in place, I got from amazon uk: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FGXK39F

Thank you! I was having the same issue 🙂
