Fantastic …. It would like awesome on a metallic photo paper

Thanks! Yes I always recommend printing on glossy photo paper especially when there are metallic effects. Alcohol ink in "real life" is also done on glossy/non absorbent paper (as opposed to watercolor).

Thank you Alaina, you have a soothing voice which helps when following the tutorials.
I’ll be using the guide here to create my dirty pour style trip-tick (writing it as I say it, easier lol).
Thank you and look forward to more videos. Always loved your real world art in digital form. Your brushes are amazing. Currently can’t afford the alcohol set, one day, I’ll grab them.

Love the tutorial. I want to create a triptych with each panel 16 x 20. What size should the canvas be?

Thank you, Alaina! They’re beautiful ❤. Just have a question in case you know the answer… do have any idea of what would be the maximum size for printing each piece in Canvas with good quality?

All depends on your canvas size you’re wanting to print, but general rule is choose a canvas with 300 DPI.

Thanks @scousetrooper yes that's correct that it needs to be 300 DPI. So the panels in this tutorial, the maximum that I would print them would be 8x12" as designed. If you want to make bigger panels, you could instead start on a bigger Procreate document. It's always a good idea to start with the size you want to print and then create the art on that canvas, since it doesn't work very well to size up after the fact.

Love the tutorial. I want to create a triptych with each panel 16 x 20. What size should the canvas be? 27:40 😅

Thanks! You'd need a canvas that is 50 x 20 inches to accommodate three 16 x 20-inch panels with 1-inch gaps between them, preferably at 300 DPI. Some older iPads will not have enough memory for this - I've got a 2022 Pro and it gives me only 7 layers at that size. I do think that Procreate is possibly planning an update to increase max size though! 🤞

Thanks so much…….I think I can manage with 7 layers for this. 0:20
