    Fantastic tutorial.
    I stayed until the end of the video, I stayed even after that. VEry very interesting and informative tutorial.
    These are new features, I believe.
    Previous versions were not equiped with tools which could be even close to it.

    Thanks for making the swatch useful lol
    It was just taking up space or being used to tinker around, but now you've shown how it's a practical tool that makes the process of color picking much faster than going to the blending properties panel directly.

    Hey Jesus! Thank you very much for sharing! As an answer to your tut's question, my answer is yes..it helps increasing the workflow speed, as seeing the entire swatch pannel you can faster match the colors in a composition or illustation..Thank you again and stay safe! ❤

    Good morning thanks for your tutorial.
    Would like to ask that after clicking and dragging the color
    In the background there is no change from white to blue
    Do i have to activate some shortcuts?

    This is very helpful ... I did not know you could drag the swatches to the screen or layers , can you do that with patterns and styles too? .. I have been picking each swatch and filling & etc ... .. but I usually do not use the default colors .. but I do save colors .. that I like and use allot .. I usually have my color scheme already picked out .. for scrapbooking

    Even the simplest things can be even simpler yet, just by following your vids. Also if you think - I dont need to see this, that is basic stuff - watch anyway, I bet you'll learn something .... :-D

    Are there any equivalent methods for older versions of PS? On a separate topic, is there any way to fill a mask with a pattern whilst bringing up the Pattern Fill dialogue box (so one can change the scale of the pattern)? The only way I can think of to directly fill a mask with a pattern is via the Paint Bucket tool, but then there are no scaling options.

    How can I get the swatches pallet as pictured in the tutorial? My Photoshop changed to a folders style pallet, which I hate. How do I get the other one back?

    • @ivanorokkhito9727
      @ivanorokkhito9727 4 роки тому

      Hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift , then open Photoshop. You will see a message that asks you to reset , if you click OK it will restore all settings.
      Otherwise go to window>workspace>Essential or whatever you like . This will not reset .

      @@ivanorokkhito9727 thanks for the help but that does not work. It always opens the pallet to the folders style and not as pictured in the tutorial.

    You can use the Stroke colors and pull out the "Set shape stroke type" drop menu.. in there you can do two ways of Swatch selections when using either Vector or pixel layers. You are all smart people, you will figure them out.

    How do you get the swatches to show in a palette like yours? Mine are in lists in groups which I don't like. Thanks.

    • @lionintu
      @lionintu 4 роки тому

      layered menus can be dragged and seperated from its own group if using the correct version of PS. just grab it by the tab

    I don’t think these particular techniques are going to be that helpful for me. The methods seem very arbitrary from a UX perspective that it’s easier to trial & error than to memorize when it comes to applying swatches.
