This is getting ridiculous! You're still coming up with the most amazing and, importantly, the most useful Photoshop tips. I have just learnt more in 21minutes than I would from watching other, so-called, photoshop experts for 21 days. LYW !!!!! Everyone watching this - spread the word and get this guy paid a helluva lot more by YT.
like everytime brady posts, he sets the new standard of photoshop proficiency. been using photoshop since i was 8, learned something new from every entry.
Been using Photoshop for over 20 years. Still appreciate new tips, especially the advanced tips. Even dipping my fingers in the After Effects tutorials. Thanks!
Wow! Nothing but pure unadulterated BRILLIANCE! Once again you have humbled me Brady. So much astonishing and useful tips in one video. This will be reviewed repeatedly. Thank you!!!!!
I got excited and accidentally purchased the Distressor plugin for the second time (not realizing I had already purchased it once before). Your videos are so inspiring! Ha ha ha!
So many incredible tips I had no idea about. Thank you so very much for you content. I was very surprised to find out that tip 21 is the one I use the most out of all tips and tricks on a weekly basis while some of the basic ones totally flew over my head until now. You're never too good to learn new things. Cheers!
Absolutely fantastic job. 21 tips. 1 tip for a minute wow just .... I don.t have words. All even advaced tips are easy to understand. All graphic designs are super nice. Love those colors. Super cool. Your tuts are the best!
Thank you and team for the hard work! Your platform provides an outstanding learning experience, useful for beginners, pros and everyone in between. Constantly amazed by what you put out, great job! Hope everyone enjoys the end of the year festivities, all the best to you all. Much love from a hobbyist in Portugal
thank you for spreading the word on the #9 edge cleanup technique, as a nuke compositor that's absolutely standard and done ALL the time, yet I don't think I've ever heard someone explicitly explaining the unlink mask + clone method in photoshop. now what we need is an easy built in way to do it procedurally around the whole image, as seen in nuke tools like pxf distort, extruder, etc.
Ah that's interesting to know about Nuke and from a compositor's point of view. I'm going to see if some combo of an edge selection and content aware fill would do it. The "Decontaminate Colors" option in Select and Mask is pretty weak!
@@Texturelabs there is surely a way to do it at very least with an action that repeats some kind of steps. I know you get the idea but here's a good example of how one of those tools works in nuke. there are some that are more like liquifying the edges outward all at once, and some that are more of a blurring them out ua-cam.com/video/NnGRDoV9B5Y/v-deo.html
Awesome tips, esp various knockouts! The Cut command is available in the menu: Layer > New > Layer via Cut. For clipped out edges defringing using something like Solidify filter from Flaming Pears or Defringe function from Layer Factory would work much faster I believe. Layer Factory also has a function that automates that Liquify opacity juggling (plus allows to liquify/transform/warp multiple selected layers)
For the Liquify trick, if you lower the fill value, the image is invisible in the main document as well, but is in full force in the Liquify interface.
You put so much work into these, it's appreciated. Like even a little 5 Second example looks like a work of art. I always drop whatever I'm doing if I spot a new video. PS - I'd really like to see your take on a more complex and realistic glass effect, particularly for text. It's the kind of thing that can be done in blender but stylized Photoshop glass has a certain cool look, or it would if I could figure out how to do it properly.
Several new things for me, and several new ways to use things I already knew. I have the Texture Labs 3D extension, but to be fair, I prefer Eye Candy 7's Extrusion. I will check out the Distressor plugin though.
i was wondering yesterday where is my new texturelabs vod and i went on the channel and realized its coming soon based on you upload pattern, very happy right now keep up the good work big fan
Thank you so much mam for this amazing new technique. Every single time I see your videos I learn something new. Thank you so much for your contribution to this community.👍
🙌🙌🙌 Every video you release is solid gold. No added fluff or time wasting, just pure knowledge and generosity. Thank you so much Brady! I used the Distressor plugin, in some way shape or form, on literally every project I’m working on. It transforms even the most basic looking idea into something interesting and uniquely styled. Thank you so much for putting in the time to craft it! The only complaint I have, and it’s a small one, it seems that I have to re-submit my license key on the plugin every single time that Photoshop updates. Which is a small nuisance, but I don’t know if there’s anything you can do on your end for resolving that.
tetxurelabs, the only channel where I still learn about photoshop... thanks Brady
Ha nice, thanks Sebastien!
It's the best photoshop tips on UA-cam! Thank you!

The Fibers trick is incredible
Awesome. I do still wonder what fibers was meant to be in the first place!
New Texturelabs video dropped! Bless this day :')

For SURE - your channel's looking good by the way man!
@ Thanks Brady! I just sent you an email by the way!! Appreciate you a ton
This is gold! Especially the last one. I was constantly failing to apply the texture the way I want. Thank you!

I've been using photoshop for years, the only place where I feel I can still learn more about it
Wonderful tricks and reminders of features. Thank you.
revisiting knock out mask layer in this video was so great ! thanks for everything brady
It does look like the most inefficient possible way to create a mask, until it's suddenly really useful!
Awesome as always - thanks so much Brady!! You've revolutionised the way I use Photoshop and my whole workflow! I am a disciple!!
My neurons grows evry watch of yours videos. Wonderful, as always man. Thanks!
You're my hero for #9 alone!
Nice! It actually can work on hair too - the most challenging of cutouts!

What's the font used in the liquify freeze mask tip? Love it
I also would like to know, very funky
I like it too! It's called Chlorine (Adobe Fonts)
MAGIC!
I love you.
Great
Sick!
For the Liquify trick, if you lower the fill value, the image is invisible in the main document as well, but is in full force in the Liquify interface.
Ah noted, interesting! That preview must be one of those things no-one has revisited the code for in a long time
god damn this vid is PACKED with stuff I didn't know about, amazing vid!!

I wish each one was uploaded separately as well so that I could find them more easily! 😂 You rock man!!!!!
It was fun to jam a variety of things together, but I think separately is probably a good call for youtube!

Bonus for getting Swami, aka John Reis, in the tutorial.
What is the name of the font used in the last tip/design?
Ah good question - I actually traced and modified from this old movie poster:
www.imdb.com/title/tt0052188/
Wow, people still using Adobe software. Are there any resources like this for Affinity Photo?
All bangers, as always 🫰
For tip #4: when you’ve made a selection, you can also right-click it and there’s an option that says “layer via cut” which does the same thing
🤯
😃😃😃
Oh yeah!!! 777!
Ok, I've been using Photoshop for 25 years, and have never known about artboards!!
you have focused a lot on Photoshop; it's time to do the same for After Effects. We demand at least 10 videos about After Effects this year 2025.
Haha noted
👌😎
Man you GOT MAD PS $KILLS (and this coming from someone w 20 years of daily experience in)!!
