I just bought a anti blue shield glasses yesterday and i thought they just put a like a sticker of reflective blue light to the frame that i choose that has already a ordinary lense haha. Now i know they really measure the lense before putting it in the frame i choose. Thanks for this vid haha 😂

They order the lens like that. "Thinning the lens" is also something that they don't do they just order lens that is thinner cause it's made from different refractive index polymers. Also they usually overharge for both the frame and the lens like you are buying a jewelry.
For some reason I always assumed it happened the other way round, blank lenses to fit each frame, that get specially machined for each person's prescription. This makes much more sense though.

They are just etched for cosmetic purposes, they have nothing to do with medical/optical prescription lenses. In fact, most optometrists would advise against you wearing lenses that have brand logos etched into them like you are asking about because they could impair your vision.
It took two days for me to get mine, and I’ve just got them today. I thought it would take like an hour cause you just have to do that at least you don’t have to wait a week.

And this is only for premade lenses (the normal ones), if you were to order lenses with blue light coating, myopic lenses, progressive, or transitional, they will take a much longer time to do.

Man they didn't have the specific lenses I use and had to get them imported from their factory somewhere in Italy and then they tell us once they got them and took 3 more weeks for that, even after saying they should come in frames and stuff from the factory 😭
