I'm a GT noob with this game being my first in the franchise, and... this test was nuts! It easily took me 6 or more hours to achieve gold on this. Other tests in the Super license gave me some trouble, but nothing more than 40 minutes or so, but S-10 - OMG.
I've played every GT game. S-10 is without a doubt THE hardest challenge in GT history. Never have I spent more time on one license. It was to the point where I gave up and used the assists because it was just straight up impossible on the corner right before the bus stop.
I'm somewhat experienced, I beat S-10 in around 40 minutes with controller and when I finally got gold I went almost 2 seconds faster than gold, and I was just about to pull my hairs out when I finally got it lol
I think you need to check your brake pedal, if you watch @ 0:43 your brake input looks very jagged. That could be a GT7 thing as I haven't played it, but a load cell brake from Fanatec should be much smoother than that.

I beat s-10 yesterday. I spent 6 hours on it, and once I finally beat it, I wasn’t even proud.

If you put the clutch in you should drop rpm and save more fuel but it will change the diff and you wouldn't be able to turn as much

I think the engine sound is different for the 917K (final licence test). I did this test on release day and it sounded different

S10 is the only license you should need more than 1TCS. It's tough but turn on all the aides and it's not that hard
