Remember, Kat's hair and scarf will always point towards "true" down, regardless of which way the gravity is oriented. In case you need to ground yourself.
And you can cancel gravity kicks at any time, preferably before you whiff the enemy, which was apparently something early reviewers couldn't grasp... Oh, and dodge in midair to reposition.
35:35 If you have that DLC for GR2, you can also play as Raven in the open city areas using a glitch that's actually easy to pull off.. #DontForgetGravityRush
I just realized something. All those bones and spinal columns inside the World Pillar mean three things: 1, the World Pillar is alive; 2, this plus its spacetime-warping traits mean the World Pillar itself is a Nevi; and 3, Nevi have BONES in there somewhere. Probably. I'm like 95% sure about the first two.
This was so fun to watch live! I just bought the remastered version and am going to do my 4th casual play through of the series. Wish I could speedrun it but I just don't have the time to learn. Such an awesome game though, hoping to see the second game at a GDQ soon!

At 22:45 he mentions it
"technically we're always falling...just in different directions"
Gravity Rush truly is one of the most under-rated games of all time.
Just had to agree with this. Everything about it was so cool. Gameplay was fun and the story was surprisingly good. Great to see it showcased.
Agreed. I wish they'd re - release these on Steam with enhanced graphics.
Both Gravity Rush and its sequel are absolutely fantastic games, definitely one of my favorite series of all times, happy to see it included in GDQ.
Much love to Japan Studio! They are missed.

Awesome job by the runner and thank you AGDQ as a whole for bringing such an underrated gem of a game to the event!
A true hidden gem of a game that should have gotten much more love. This and the sequel are amazing.

This was a really great run to watch and excellent commentary from the runner and copilot, thank you.
Gonna have to watch this later, but I love Gravity Rush to death. Definitely would not have expected to see it at a GDQ event.
just played through this for the first time a few days ago! Excited to see it played well 🤣
The Nostalgia from this game is real
Amazing run, Raine! Hate that I couldn't be there to share the experience, but yall knocked it out of the park!

Quickly done
Wait, why is everyone pronouncing "mavity" like that?
This game looks pretty neat but I could never play it with how much she screams. Good grief. Way too much anime screaming.
if you play it normally she screams way less lol
