Danke
I can’t believe it but I have a TIP for *you* Felix. With your favorite carry, you said it’s “more flexible” and it’s 50-50 whether people like it. For those who want that carry, put the last two inches into the slim side pocket to keep it tucked in.🌿
I have adapted my carry system by adding a few drops of super glue to the belt loop webbing to stiffen it, now it doesn’t flop around so much. Then I slipped some bicycle inner tube on the scabbard. Useful in an emergency as a fire lighting aid but the real purpose is to hold whatever I want under the tube, eg the fire rod and tweezers. Now it is the perfect camping knife for me. Great knife.
Numerous carry options is a good, I can see a number of improvements for future models. The O-ring is a good, however, if it needs replaced is a problem. A belt loop that is able to be remove from your belt without taking your belt off would be one to add. I would like to see a Scandi grind blade model made as well. The slight difference in slicing between the two seems less important than the ease of sharpening and added strength of the edge.👍
Disclaimer, I was a soldier in the German Navy and learned a lot there, like using yarn and a needle :D Replacing the O-Ring is easy, open the seem on the strip, replace the O-ring and sew it back together. While adding a velcro strip onto the cordura is possible, It probably will not fit through the hole in the sheath. It should be possible to make a metal clip which goes from the top into the hole in the sheath which then is secured on the sheath with some velcro or an O-Ring. I expect a boat load of third party add ons and DiY modifications for the Venture series in the future. The flat grind is perfect for what I need. Try cutting sail cloth with a scandi grind :)
Hallo Felix!
Here Felix, thank you. Just an observation. In both ‘dangler’ formats, you could fit the tip of the scabbard into the ruler pocket of your trousers. This would ‘keep it tidy’. Just a thought.
👍🏼I like carry options. Very important or no carry. That’s why I first started making my own kydex sheaths for some knives. If the knife fits my body I prefer horizontal front carry.

I am very impressed by the typical Swiss attention to detail that gives so much versatility to the carrying system. @@FelixImmlerof course! You usually grasp the knife with the blade extending from between your thumb and first finger. When you do this in the scabbard you must turn your wrist a great deal to reach it on your hip. Instead, grasp the knife so the blade extends from your little finger, like a dagger. You will need to change grip for most uses, then change back to reinsert the knife to the scabbard. This is also a very safe way to return the knife to the scabbard because you touch the back edge of the knife to the lip of the scabbard to guide it into the sheath and you don’t need to use you other hand and risk cutting your fingers.

Hi Felix, Once again a super video with lots of ideas to try out! I really like to carry fixed blades diagonally on the hip, with the grip pointing to my navel. The drawing of the knife, when carried this way, is a fluent motion in a forwards-upwards direction. As I'm not familiar with Tec-Locks: Is there a way to mount them diagonally to the base-plate? Grüezie from Germany!
Hello I just bought one of these, and I was trying to see a way to carry this knife blade up. However I believe this wasn't designed to be carried that way, is this just an unsafe way to carry it? Or the wrong way? Or is it a dumb way because you can lose it? Do you have any recommendations?

Pony tail holder to secure the handle!

You attach an elastic ponytail holder like what your daughter would use to tie back her hair and use the elastic to attach the knife handle to the knife sheath !

Thanks for this positive feedback!
Love the knife, hate the sheath. I have the option with the simple sheath (red knife)
Thanks for your feedback!
Great video Felix. Completely off topic, what pants are those? The ripstop on the ware points would be a Godsend for me.
This is KingCraft pants which i bougt by Lidl for 20m Bucks or so.
Hi Felix,
Hi Felix,
Once again a super video with lots of ideas to try out!
🤣 🤣 🤣
Do you think the Venture knife would be a good for the Boyscouts
Yes... you have to know, that it's not really a survival knife. The tip is made for fine carving, it's not a lever tool
@@FelixImmler well the scouts Eagle Scouts that I am talking about.
Boys are older ones with more experience with knives
Hello I just bought one of these, and I was trying to see a way to carry this knife blade up. However I believe this wasn't designed to be carried that way, is this just an unsafe way to carry it? Or the wrong way? Or is it a dumb way because you can lose it? Do you have any recommendations?
you have to secure the knife if you want carry it upside down. I would say the rubber ring is not enough... but this is just my feeling.
👍👍👍👍
Vielen Dank!
When will they be available ?
where are you from. USA and Europa this knife should be avalable...
Why aren’t they making the pro version in the iconic Victorinox red ? That red is pretty much there signature color
it says Victorinox !
This is a good question... I don't know. Ask Victorinox direct..
Can you carry it horizontally?
With the Teclock ...yes.. that should work.
Could I have a Vic implanzed to my Hand, cause I use this every day?
Haa ha haa thanks for your funny comment!
👍👍👍
Thank you!
Guter Hinweis! Da muss ich mal dran rum studieren...
