When I knew Jessica Chastain would have been in the movie, I was so damn happy, because I love her! One of my favorite actresses! But I gotta say the actress that plays the old lady is really good. Keep staring and smiling without moving at all isn’t that simple
They nailed the old lady scene from the book. I hope they really get into Pennywise's history, it looks like the guy smearing makeup off his face is the old ladys father getting possessed by the IT alien from the books.
I read the book, and seen the original TV movie. I love this version cuz it follows the book. I'm still scared of clowns but shit I can't wait to wait it....

With mean old ladies, you kinda know where you stand. The sweet, frail-looking old ladies, who are just too nice and friendly... _that's_ where they get ya. 🎈
I wanna see how they explain the otherwordly stuff, like IT being a figure made of light, in the deepness of space.

The actress playing Mrs. Kersh has the spookiness cranked all the way up to 11. Fucking fantastic job on her part.

actively looking forward to seeing in the theaters. But I got to say
this, I still think that Amy Adams would have been a better pick for the
grown up version of Sophia Lillis . They look freakishly similar, as
they did when they were both in "Sharp Objects"...This is in no way
meant to take anything away from Jessica Chastain and her being in the
movie...

Honestly, the first one was a good B movie. Some parts I found stupid and cliche. But it was fun enough. I'll still watch the sequel but looks more of the same.

he liked the film? I recall the review they gave was a bit more skeptical, granted they did not say it was bad, but not that they were scared as they should have?
I figured that meant the he did not like the film, guess I was wrong.
For now, growing up do not mean you will escape the dread. For a grudge born form a town no longer free, will once again expose itself. Will it freak us out more this time? or will it be more psychology? Guess time will tell.
