Which is very interesting. Such a great trailer and the music is perfect that first long scene & the shot with Penny Wise in the air with the balloons is so perfect " the money shot " I guess it's called 🎈 Great Reaction as usual guys .
Read the book twice. I‘ve seen all the movies. What is great about “It” is that there are no pointless characters and the heroes love each other SO MUCH which makes the survival-horror situation that much more dire.
I'm excited for IT: Chapter Two. This is my second anticipated movie of the year and most anticipated horror film. I have the novel and read it before I saw IT: Chapter One which I loved and I've seen the 1990 miniseries (which I saw for the first time after reading the novel) which I had mixed feelings about it because I feel like it didn't capture the scariness from the book and it looked cheap. This sequel is going to be more like the novel with a few changes which I'm excited for. Plus I'm going to re-read the novel to prepare for this film. Also this trailer was excellent amd terrifying. Nothing is scary but a naked old lady coming towards you.😬😬😨😨😱😱

You two definitely need to see the first movie! It is definitely worth watching. The remake is extremely good. Then go see Chapter 2 when it comes out. By the way, the old woman IS Pennywise!

I was super excited for the first movie, and I have to be honest, it was not that scary. It was an ok moive. Now this looks very good, but my gut says it will be like the last one. Allot of hype, but not that scary at all. Just my two cents, I might go see it, we will see.
I agree with the not being scary part, but I think they nailed the creepiness (like they did in this trailer) and had a touch of comedy just to balance it out. I thought the movie was great and I liked it, so I’m excited for this. Just my opinion though.

That is an expression that pennywise does in the chapter 1. The crazy thing about it is its not a computer effect. The actor can do that. I saw an interview with bill hader. When he was on set he was talking to the guy who played the clown and was asking him how they did that eye trick. He responded. "Oh , you mean this? " and shifted is left eye in the opposite direction and bill freaked out laughing.

The original film excelled from having a consistently creepy atmosphere and great acting/actors. It wasn't terrifying, but I can't fault a horror movie that gets my pulse going but doesn't give me nightmares. The book is actually one of my favorite reads mostly because Stephen King could have merely told a scary story about a scary clown but instead dissects fear as a conscious entity. The miniseries is perfectly enjoyable even though it looks and feels like a TV movie instead of miniseries today. The main reason why the miniseries was so popular was because Tim Curry's Pennywise seemed like the kind of creep who could woo your parents while making it clear that you weren't safe. The Skarsgard Pennywise is like a homicidal child and is scary in a different way.

Dustin's rambling on how the way he "enjoys" horror films (by knowing in advance what happens) is weak sauce! lol, Dustin just admit you don't appreciate horror the way it is intended! That is not shameful, each to their own taste, but arguing how getting spoiled for horror films so as to defuse all tension and suspense is 'just as valid' a way to enjoy horror, hmm, it may not be wrong (its all subjective so...) but it is just a little bit shameful.
