Weird Potato in my opinion they should stick to their older style. The acoustic sounds they made in My Head is an Animal and Beneath the Skin is what made them unique and it’s what created their fan base. The music in this song and Fever Dream sound nothing like the beautiful music they use to make, it just sounds like the typical electronic music that most mediocre bands make.
@@martydg1509 it's their music though that's the thing to keep in mind, they have to follow their passion -- musicians make music for themselves honestly, if they don't like it it's not worth releasing
I walked up mountains in England as a child with my father, I lost him to a addiction, and a year later I lost myself to the same thing ,. I never Injected drugs but I guess no matter which way they destroy people,, I was so lost and do deep in misery , your song mountain sound reminded me I only feel truly free in the mountains ,, and I beat it ,I beat the shit out addiction , and your if I'd not heard your song and others after I heard that first song, id be still a addict I'm now strong in body from the gym and mentally like a rock , you really saved my life , my ship was my journey to redemption and I had to face hard truths ,,it brought me safe to shore ,, truly I thank you from the bottom of my heart all I have to offer is that , you saved my life

As an IV user going through withdraws trying to stay clean but wanting to cave so bad it hurts this hit home. I too walked with my father through the mountains in my childhood (Appalachia though, not England) and I lost him recently. He also was a drug addict but got clean and found God, but not before he destroyed my family. I've felt my whole life I've been chasing those feelings of contentment I had as a child, discovering the honest beauty of nature with my father as my guide. Mountain Sound is also one of my favorite songs as well. Your comment gives me hope. Cheers to you brother. May God Almighty bless and keep you

"My Head is An Animal" got me in love with this band for the first time, "Beneath the Skin" had me laying on the floor with pool of tears with the lyrics. This and "Fever Dream" give me a sense of nostalgia from an era I've never even been.
Keep making music!! Even when your genre shifts, I have a strong belief that you guys are just incapable of making bad music🍀

I've seen some people whine because this album is different than your earlier stuff. Being new to your band I don't fall into that category. I like what I'm hearing here on the album. Naturally I checked the earlier stuff & I liked that too. Bands evolve over time & it's good they do. If they didn't evolve it would suck. I grew up with the Beatles and can't imagine them being stuck doing Twist & Shout type stuff for almost ten years.

Reading the comments, people are talking about them changing styles, but I had never heard their new music before today. I started listening to them right after I just felt like listening to their old songs, because I have loved them for years. Then decided to check out their recent music, and I honestly hardly noticed a difference. I still felt the same as I did listening to their old songs, loving the sounds and just happily jamming to them. I love this band so much... I feel bad for being so late to listening to their newer songs.
