For truckers that don’t use a truck sat nav became they can’t afford it, come on guys if you’re not earning good money then you’re in the wrong job. As for the cost I’ve had my TomTom 6250 for 5 years, reckon it’s cost me about 20p per working day……hardly expensive. And it’s saved me hours and hours routing me around traffic. Even when I know where I’m going I still use it in case of traffic issues……don’t hesitate just buy one!
I would surggest a UK trucker's UK road atlas as it will have bridge heights and be in a large format, Hgv sat nav, Google maps will show your drop and if there is street view you can see if you're drop is one that you can drive into or needs to be reversed into, Also it will have a phone number so it's worthwhile a call to ask about Access or do you need to stop outside before entering. Like all things these are only tools to aid you ,so common sense is a must.
Thanks my guy, I've just passed my class 1 and after watching your video I'm getting a truck satnav.. fantastic video 👍🏽...
I need to get one when down many questionable roads (farm roads)

When in north London my tomtom doesn’t register 7.5 access/ loading roads. Really frustration

Sniper sat nav spot on wouldn’t dare just use google maps asking for trouble
Absolutely right
Good vid pal.. How about the 40 quid Ebay satnavs? Any good?
Don’t even bother, I bought one of the generic Chinese ones just to see how it compared with my TomTom 6250, not even close to in the same league
Google will take you down street not suitable for hgv, and the weight allowable.
