I drive a 26 tonne class 2 waste wheeler around the cotswolds. Lots of very tight rural roads and sites that you wouldn't get an arctic in. I personally find it more challenging than the class 1 work, which is mainly up and down motorways. I am planning to move onto tanker work full time with the same company (class 1). The arctics are a lot more comfortable, I only have 3 drops a day instead of 70, and I'll spend a lot less time on unsuitable roads. I also prefer that arctics can bend making them a lot more manoeuvrable. I think that the difficulty on both class 1 and 2 entirely depends on the job you're doing, but I agree that class1 is more skillful overall
I've done with hgv crap employers crap hours crap money and they always want more more more all give and no rewards back transport companies are all the same out for themselves and nobody else
😂 I did an assessment for Coop ... first time in a 4/4 got it in the end but stalled it and all sorts 🫣... worst bit was getting the job and then playing jenga on the back, on a hill trying to get the Xmas beer and veg off... not for me, those guys are hard core! 🤘
Thanks mate been following you for a minute finally going for class 2

Without any question class to is the easier one.

Class 2 easier just like bigger car
It’s nothing like a bigger car.
Not really DPD multi drop drivers around Heathrow Clear £850 a week in wages that’s van work
That's interesting, gotta be tough work for that though
Are they self employed ?
Yeah if you're doing 60 million drops lol
That’s absolute rubbish. They earn nothing near that figure.
Try class 2 18 ton spit ⚙️ box 4x4 manual
Just the manuals for me please
