I still have my OG clone wars phase 1 Rex, but I’m tempted by this because the idea of a Rex that fits in with my more modern figures is great, because I still have a ton of phase two 501st troops from the umbara series.
You probably wont see this but i got like 50/50 2013 rex for $60 since the head isnt needed the legs will be covered by kama from capecatina and the helmet+ torso cost me around $50-$60 since i ordered other things.
I was thinking to buy that Rex minifigure, but since i didn't want to spend 28$ nor 200$ for the original, i just bought a blue sharpie and made it by myself and it turned out pretty well actually
The Rex figure is made of ALL official pieces, some of their other clones use official pieces (legs and torso) with replica helmets. Their website tells you in the description how much of the figure is official Lego.
Great army builder for the 332nd, vaughn is disappointing and the swamp speeder looks not very exciting. The canon from the 501st battlepack is a much better battlepack side build. Looking forward to checking it out in person. I also think it’s very funny how the 332nd keeps ending up in sets that don’t make sense.

28€ for Rex is steal a lot, in my oponion.
But i will definitly consider buying the smiley face version of his helmet.
Totally feel that, but when the official one costs hundreds of dollars I think it’s worth it. Now we just need Rex in a #captainrexsywing 😉
You can also get some custom printed arms for Rex from FireStarToys, they look great and aren't too expensive either. Great Vid ❤
