Committed to conservation, Oregon Zoo is currently working to save endangered California condors, Oregon silverspot and Taylor's checkerspot butterflies, western pond turtles and Oregon spotted frogs. Other projects include studies on Asian elephants, polar bears, orangutans and giant pandas. Celebrating 125 years of community support, the zoo relies in part on donations through the Oregon Zoo Foundation to undertake these and many other animal welfare, education and sustainability programs.

We've had chickens, ducks, parrots and rabbits and they all love watermelon.

I have one very serious complaint about every single Oregon Zoo video... they are way too short. With so many amazing and compelling topics and dedicating so little time on them is a shame... I would love to see you stretch out your videos to at least 10 minute segments, I'm sure you will get much love and support for more engaging videos. The Oregon Zoo does such great work, and the staff are amazing people.

I don't think there's a single animal on this planet that wouldn't eat a watermelon.
Even the lion the apex predator likes watermelon this is confusing because lions are carnivorous animals which means they like to eat meat not for spite but for survival. Moral of the comment: survival of the fittest
