i've never been to the oregon zoo and it looks like an amazing zoo, but a lot of zoos are allowing animals to roam around the zoo during quarantine when the zoos were closed. again, i'm not discounting oregon zoo since it's a great zoo but you shouldn't discount other zoos for doing it too
It must feel SO amazing for an elephant to be essentially weightless under water. Also, just wonderful to watch all these critters just enjoying the moment with their keepers cheering them on. :)
concordo! wish it would go on 4ever and a day! lol. one could almost read the expression of happines(and gratitude to their kidnappers)on these guys' faces
@@trevisrobotie924 LOL! I forgot I posted this comment! happy to hear you "concordi" with me :)! and yes, they have been stolen from their natural habitat, but you know what? Wish I could live in Oregon cause it sounds like really fun but I'm unfortunately stuck in Italy.
Any one know what kind of bird that was, enjoying the belly rub? Seeing elephants swim was a wonderful site to see. It's amazing to me they can float. All the animals were looking happy and well cared for. Their habitats looked so lush and clean. The animals with orange brown fur, ringed tails were so cute with their masked faces.
Those delightful urban beavers are just the best to watch.. meandering through the office corridors! All the animals UK n this video are a delight to see. Thank you to every one at Oregon Zoo for taking such good care of all!
Thank you zookeepers for taking care of these precious creatures. I grew up in Portland and the zoo has come a very very long way from what it was 50 years ago. I don’t even want to remember what I saw. I’m so glad that we’ve learned how to better share our world with these animals and enrich their lives with more natural habitat and “field trips” to other habitats. 💕💕
Nice to see how playful and interested they are, seems like they are in great care. The way the animals just trotted along outside their normal enclosure showed how much they trust the keepers and feels at home
Well there's all kinds of categories for awards, like best mud bather, best ice cruncher, best treehopper , most unique beautiful look; I give that to Sharpie hands down! It would be hard to decide on the cutest and the biggest rascal. I continue to look forward to your videos as one of my favorite channels. It helps me feel connected to my home state Oregon.
Oh my, I so very much love how every critter is given a chance to experience the outside and be themselves as much as possible! They're excellently cared for and have a great quality of life. Thank you for this. They're so beautiful, each and every one💖🙂!
You put other so called zoos to shame, just by respecting and caring about the animals. Thankyou for showing us what compassion can do to make a difference ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
That’s partly because they really work hard for their animals. AZA accreditation is very difficult to achieve and zoos like this one have to go well beyond just the usual.
This was so amazing I cried at the end. You treat these angels the way God intended us to❣️ This is a same preview of what Heaven is like❣️❣️❣️🥰🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

@MiDo-by8ib Your children aren't objectively interesting or special. Can you just let someone enjoy something without bringing up your offspring. A stranger not finding joy in kids or thinking that animals are more interesting to observe, takes away nothing from you. You can just let them have their own feelings.
What a beautiful place this must be. It is the first time a zoo feels to me like a beautiful place. Thank you for preserving these animals and teach to people about them
Instant party: otters and ice, don't bother to stir. Love the walks around the zoo; the porcupines and penguins always make me laugh. I never realized how big ground hornbills are- I think that guy's as big as my three-year-old niece!

I'm curious as to whether those animals are roaming the zoo with the caretakers because of the pandemic & the zoo is closed or is this something that happens in non-pandemic years?
I love that there is no sound other than that of the animals. Thank you
Yes, I appreciated the lack of cheesy music
Right. Too much stupid sound everywhere else
I agree. I’m always annoyed when I go to watch animal videos and there’s syrupy music playing.
That was great. I'm grinning from ear to ear.😁
