Being a fellow QC guy , i'm suprised i just stumbled on this album/band and not before. I love searching for more and more technical / melodic / progressive local goodness and this fits the bill perfectly !

RIGHT!? Was just looking at my suggested list and it's got NEW Cynic, Archspire, Deviant Process, ... my goooddd. :) I'm curious if that new Meshuggah is a gift for this year or next, but in any case it's-a-comin! And new Stabbing Westward in March if you like a bit lighter once-industrial rock. I don't know what they'll sound like these days but it's cool to hear they're coming back.

Vocals are plain brutal, on-point

@@murderface79 they are very technical and tight, but still do not sound to me this overwhelmingly melodic and fluid-like. This is Anata level of material. Its been a looooong time since I listened to the whole tech death album from start to finish.

Wow. Very picky when it comes to tech, but this went way over my expectations. Great pacing, musicianship, variety and structure. Some of the super dense groovy parts remind me very much of Martyr (a lot of the album does) and there is no world in which that is a bad thing. Bravo les gars.
Edit: Doing a cover of Cybervoid by Obliveon is unexpected, but very welcome. Real underground OG stuff. A deep cut.

Nope, they are not and this is the most unique album I have ever heard. It is so versatile that it hits you everytime with melody and the off gutar tune hits right the spot. Have you ever heard nylon playing in beyond creation's song?
Doesn't sound like Beyond Creation all that much to me. For one I don't find this too annoying. The Quebec tech scene has been one of those at the forefront of the genre for a long time now though, the talent pool is deep and musician influence each other, so some similarities are sure to arise.
This rips, but what do you find annoying about beyond creation? They're beasts too
