Again, we're used to seeing her with makeup and with a tan. Plus she has a immune disease which attacks her body. She's probably been taking some time off and staying home. Their mother had a stroke not too long ago and now a sister has transcended. Things like that makes people draw closer to home. I hope she gets some sunshine for her health.
She had an Aunt to pass a few years ago and she performed this song in memory of her while in concert. She really put all of herself (heart and soul) into singing this song. Full of emotion at the loss of her loved one which makes a difference in the delivery. So beautifully done Toni.
