Found out about him because he wrote/produced my favorite songs off of Bowling for Soups "Drunk Enough to Dance" album. I bought Left of Self Centered and Marvelous 3's Ready Sex Go the next day. I have been a huge fan ever since. I saw him live twice and his "Letters" album is one of my all time faves!
Every version of this song I hear, I love. I love the live acoustic version on Justified and Stripped, there was a darker, melancholy version on his website for a while, and there this one, The one from Left of Self Centered is still my fav though. It is so powerful and full of emotion. IMO the best vocal performance from Butch so far.

@JustJRTV He writes music for Avril Lavigne, Pink, Christina Aguilera, et cetera. That is probably why it sounds familiar. Same style. By the same person.

His solo stuff is under rated but I dont think he tries to advertise his solo stuff I think he is more known as a producer more than anything he just does solo stuff when he gets bored of not playing live shows lol
i know its kinda like i don't want to many ppl to know him cus its like when i listen to his music its just me and him! ^_^ theres nobody else to influence my liking his music. God i'm so mad everyone here knows him! get outta here hes mine! ahaha i'm totaly kidding!
@draymehr honestly i dont think that he wants to make it big time... and i dont really think that it would be a good thing if he did... cuz then it wouldnt be the same.. like this way he can just do something that he enjoys for the sake of enjoying it and for the simple reason that he enjoys it :)
i'm not sure why this dude never made it big time. but it's truly amazing to see an artist who truly loves what they do.

This song has rapidly found itself in my favourites playlist, and his CD has rapidly found its way to the top of my Christmas list.

you got me excited for a second, but i looked up some songs by brand new, they are pretty average. And is voice/lyrics are nothing compared to butch.
