I just wanted to say that I should have bought the sheet music FIRST and not just watched the video. With the sheet music, it's easier for me to follow your steps and the beat counting. I think the combination of video AND sheet music is brilliant.

This is a great lesson. What scale length is your cbg? Tuning?
Thanks and I hope you enjoying learning the tune. The guitar is in GDG tuning - there's a short section at the start of the video where you can tune to the same notes. I'll have to check the guitar scale length - I didn't build it unfortunately!

What gauges are your strings?
Hi they are fairly thick - I think strings 5, 4, 3 from an electric set, but heavier than the standard 10 gauge sets with a wound 3rd string. They are also flatwound so sound more mellow than regular roundwound strings. I'm not sure if they are the best type to use - it was an experiment and I've not changed them since!
What rail pickup is that??
Hi it's a hotrail - it's got quite a lot of output signal so great for driving tube amps
