My guy thanks heaps. After detailing the interior of my Impreza I noticed my hill assist light was on. Couldn’t figure out how to get it off again until I came across this vid.
@@joshuachristiansen2626 the shifter itself is very similar. The clutch is a little odd to get used to as it almost feels like the throttle is muted when you’re coming off the clutch pedal. With the stage 1 from Cobb that is eliminated. Other than that feels nearly identical. Might be a bit more “notchy” but it’s not a big difference.
Is it true that there is NO Way to turn off hill assist on a 2009 Subaru WRX hatchback? I despise this feature. It stays on too long and can cause undue wear on the clutch. I live in hilly country and have been honked at repeatedly while the hill assist delays start-up on a hill. I'm not trying to launch/race or anything. It impedes normal driving! It's a very bad idea on a car that only comes with a stick shift. I wonder who the braniac was that did this.
