Thank you so very much for this excellent detail, with close up on the rear axle, how to video. You saved me an hour trying to figure it out. Carry On Sir!
Love how these videos always show everything so easy to come off, nuts etc are always loose, never shows them getting stripped, never shows knuckles getting busted and then all the language and bleeding that goes with it. Would be nice to see something real life and just real for once.
Dic19/2021 9:50 Oklahoma City I want to say thank you my man 👨🏻 because you show me how to replace the same line on dodge ram 2001, I was going to NW Mexico but I lose my brakes because the line got crack I drive back to home to fix it but don’t have idea how take off but I find your video 👏🏽 Thank you….🤝
I thank you for this video and the effort you put into it. My break line blew at the connection from brake line to rubber hose. Long story short . It saved the day. New break line to rear axle . B-)
I was looking for info on how the rear brake lines are joined from each wheel...this video explained alot, and im not working on a Jeep. It's a 54 Chevy 210 im working on
I've been 3 days on the phone, on you tube, at various parts stores trying to figure out what that axel breather tube is. Mine has brake fluid coming out. Like do much that it empties the fluid withing 10 minutes. I had one parts store guy say it ran to my fox shocks, another said it was a brakes distrabution, another said it was a sensor... So glad I found your video. .now I'm wondering if the fluid can even leak from that breather or if it's actually comming from the brake line block. Anyone have any ideas weather it can leak brake fluid from the breather hose at the block
I've been through the same search trying to figure out what that breather hose is for as well. Mine is just ran backwards, ending by the rear bumper. Just bought a 2000 TJ with 4.0L and I'm working through the sins of its previous owners. Figured this was one of those. Mine isn't leaking fluid, but I'd assume that's differential fluid (not brake fluid) if it's acting as an axle breather). I'm still wondering what my BRAKE light in the dash is caused from. My parking brake switch isn't stuck, I have no visible leaks in the brake lines, there is plenty of brake fluid, and the brakes seem to be working okay. I'm just not sure what the issue is. Any help is appreciated.
nobody shows the electric wire extension........ to the rear brakes for a jku mine busted when I flexed wtf I relocated the brake line for a 3.5 lift when I flexed the wire's in the left and right rear broke how to fix?

Subscribed to Rough Country!! Great stuff!
Keep on helping jeep owners to do it themselves.
Ok so where you disconnected it up toward the frame. Just a little farther up mine busted. Got a video for that
Yes, watch our how to bend brake line video!
Thanks. I’m an idiot. Couldn’t figure out how the hell to get that block off of the axle.
will those rough country rear extended lines fit on my MJ? I know the fronts do but idk about the rear.
Subscribed to RC!
The first brake line you disconnected my snapped and is now stuck inside the square any opinions on that?
How did you fix it?
Hi Matt,
what size wrench? 3/8" ?
Where do the copper washers go?
Where's the full length video?
Is a brake fluid on the market that dose not absorb water ?
Mike L60 nope. Brake fluid is hydroscopic by nature.
What size is the line wrench?
3/8" or 10mm
